Melia Grand Hermitage - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Everything is great. We had a very nice holiday. We would like to come back. There were a lot of food choices for kids. Overall, it’s a nice place for kids. Thanks Melia grand hermitage and all the staffs."

Albizia Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the rooms, staff, cleanliness of the hotel, but unfortunately roof terrace was being upgraded so unable to use, which was a shame. Also the three bars/ resteraunts within 50 yards of hotel, were excellent for food and drink. Forgot to mention breakfast in hotel was very nice. All in all an enjoyable stay"

Graffit Gallery Design Hotel
8/10 Good
"Overall, we had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The hotel was clean, and the location was excellent—close to everything we needed, including restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The only downside was that the pool area looked a bit worn down and not as well maintained as the rest of the hotel. Other than that, everything was very good, and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again."

ibis Styles Golden Sands Roomer Hotel
8/10 Good
"Really nice place, with a great price and a couple minute walk and easy access to the beach. Breakfast service is excellent with lots of variety, and it's not the same every day. Dinner restaurant menu is pretty good too! Rooms fasting east get quite hot in the morning but there's air conditioning. My only issue here is that all the floors are concrete, so you hear pretty much everything from the room above you. In our case, loud tv and stomping all night. Hotel could do to install some sound insulation or carpets."

Astor Garden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"All good but the staff was not trained to inform all discounts on the property which could saved us unnecessary expenses but the the guest service lady diductrd all our missed discount from our final bill."

AQUA Hotel

"The price was good comparitively for this area at this time, but as a seaside location, Varna is still more expensive than other Bulgarian cities. I did have buffet breakfast included, however. The buffet seems to be normally rated as excellent, but I would just say that it was ok. Yes, there was a selection similar to most full buffets, but more modest in size, perfectly edible but not special, and the prices and quality when I had one dinner I would describe as similarly ok, but just average. The staff were great, and the room was clean with everything I needed, and the location was great for me, travelling with heavy bags, because it is only about 200metres from the train station, and other transport options to Varna are limited. You can fly, but there aren't many flights, long range buses don't run every day, and train travel is very cheap. I have found the trains reliable, even though they look and feel like they are held together with cloth tape :) You can walk from this hotel to anywhere at the Port, beautiful Sea Garden, or the centre, if you are happy with 15-30 minute walks. The hotel standards in Varna, in spite of it being a major Black Sea resort town, are not as good as in Sofia or Plovdiv, so travellers should try to reach up an extra star rating to get what they normally expect. The city has a lovely location, however. My overall good rating, therefore, reflects that this was a comfortable and good option in Varna, and I will stay here again."

"Room was clean and huge, good price, great location. Accommodating staff but they were inexperienced which is problem of management, not staff themselves."
