「We loved the location and rooftop pool of this stay, in Madeira. The room was simple, but clean and we enjoyed the amenities. Staff weren’t too friendly and the breakfast was quite limited, but we enjoyed the room and found a great local restaurant to eat at that evening (Restaurant a Chave).」

「Hotel Quinta do Furão is one of the most beautiful hotels that I've ever stayed at. The highlights were the cliffside view with the Atlantic Ocean and mountains in the background, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean in the morning from our room's balcony. Apart from the view, the hotel is well maintained and the breakfast each morning was very satisfying.」

「Clean, quiet, and friendly staff! The view could have been better if there was not a big tree infront of the balcony obstructing the ocean view. The A/C was a big plus in the summer. The amenities looked great ( wish they were open later in the night after a long day of hiking, we did not have time to use them during the day) breakfast was very good. Lots of variety! Parking was ok.」

「This property has got all of the necessary elements to be great but fails in spite of itself. The staff are friendly but inefficient. There is no direct service to the rooftop pool, the only outside pool which fails to meet basic service. The restaurant food was good but the service was not. It simply did not compare to their sister hotel by the lava pools. The service and food were outstanding there. Our room was not cleaned until 3.15pm on 2 days of our stay and then suddenly at 9.30am on...
