「Edward and his wife are welcoming hosts. Had some issues on the first night which were promptly resolved by Edward. The location is super convenient and close to the amenities I needed to use. The room was comfortable with everything I required for my stay. 」

「The place looked good from the outside but, inside it needed a lot of TLC . The electric infrastructure in the bedroom was from one multi plug. TV , Fridge Air Conditioner, kettle and any other personal equipment. Such as computer and cell phone Charging all from one unit. (Totally unsafe). The other plug socket did not work. Plumbing also was a disgrace. The toilet didn’t work properly and the tap on the Hand basin was loose. No more than one star accommodation. We shall never be going...

「Friendly welcome and wonderful room with a massive bed and delightful view over the golf course. The restaurant was great, would recommend. The only minor letdown was the shower, which needs a replacement shower head, and the plumbing could use some maintenance.」

「Well this looked like a back house for maids. The 2nd bedroom light had no on and off switch so my kids had to sleep with their light on. We were 4 guests, but they had only placed 2 small cups for coffee. The doors inside were actually cupboard doors. The heater was a normal 2 bar heater instead of the aircon that was there. Definitely not worth the price」

「The Black Eagle Hotel and Spa is a wonderful place to go when you just want to completely zone out. I spent a couple of nights here and found the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. There were plenty of opportunities to lounge by the pool, enjoy the beautiful gardens, and truly not feel the need to go anywhere at all. The on-site restaurant was a great convenience, and the food was excellent.」

「All was OK, especially the very good swimming pool and the really very nice well kept garden, thanks to the property's dedicated grounds keeper, but the kitchen needs to be restocked with more cooking wares and specially drinking glasses as there were none of these at all..」
