「wish we had stayed two nights here. The house is in a relaxing area has everything you would want. we woke up with wild turkeys in the backyard and a beautiful sun rise plenty of room and space for a group we did not mind adjusting our itinerary to stay here. It was worth it.」

「We stayed for 5 nights during our honeymoon. We loved the location, the inn, our room, and Stonington. The pictures of the views don’t even do it justice. Stonington is a friendly, quirky, working harbor town. It was quiet and relaxing, exactly what we wanted. The ladies working were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend. 」

「We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the staff, the view, the location! We plan to come back again in the next year or two. 」

「This is a spectacular property overlooking the tidal Benjamin River, seen through the huge windows in the livingroom as well as from a nice outdoor deck, patios and expansive lawn with Adirondack chairs. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and it was very convenient to get to Deer Isle, Blue Hill and all the other nearby towns. Highly recommended!」

「The property was beautiful in the daytime and stunning at night. Sitting around the fire at night on clear nights revealed a majestic view of the stars capped off by hundreds and thousands of fireflies. The host was responsive to our questions and quick to respond as well.」

「This place is very clean and the rooms are large. I enjoyed the walk down to the water, which is close by. Kitchen was well stocked. I, too, felt a railing on the stairs would be helpful. I am new to the Vacasa connection, so that took some learning, but all went well. 」

「There are safety, fire and handicap issues which make this location a risk for fire and physical injury for anyone. The shower height is inappropriate for any age. Extension cords connected to space heaters are a fire hazard. There should be a warning in the description of the property when considering booking for personal comfort. We checked out early as we could not stay at this VRBO.」
