This hotel was very basic but comfortable. No one was there to serve you and the reception had no receptionist. The room itself was clean, comfortable and safe with a good en suite shower.
This hotel was lovely, staff really friendly on check in, card machine wasn’t working so had to pay cash( no problem) everything clean and well looked after.
Room was warm and comfortable. Very clean. Could have done with a mat for shower.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
Was difficult to get into property as they keep the door locked and no staff were ever on-site during our stay. Once we managed to get into our room (by phoning numbers posted on the doors multiple times) our stay was fine. The room was spacious, but twin mattress in our room had a significant sag in the middle that made getting comfortable a challenge. We were given 2 towels for 3 people. Location was very convenient. Easy walking to train station, centre of town, and historic buildings.

States reception open 10am to 10pm. This is a lie.
Stood out in cold for 10 mins as no one there. Another guest let us in. Called numerous times to be told key in room. Then told my fault they didn’t tell me in advance. Bed was old and very uncomfortable. Bathroom fan and water pipes from other rooms was horrendously noisy ALL night. Room was clean shower tiny only one set of towels which were damp. No one available at all.
The net curtains looked like a cat had been climbing through them the towel felt like a piece of card .the wall had a lovely stain too. It took forever to gain access I had to make about 15 calls before I eventually got through. Then when I finally got in the internet was not working properly and I got no apology just told must be the weather???? It was not windy or rainy not even that cold to be honest I'd not bother again this isn't budget it's a mess the bedding was clean but quietly paper thin I'd give it
A big miss there are better places at a better price
The phone number on thier website doesn't work. They didn't respond to either of my two email enquiries. When we arrived there was no one on reception to let us in and we had to call a mobile number that was stuck to the front door with poor instructions as to what to do if no one was in. When calling both mobile numbers neither of them were answered and we were only able to get in because a fellow guest let us in.
The room was good and was quiet at night with the only disruption being that of the hotel owner talking loudly on the phone in the middle of the night.

The room was okay, the images on the website are misleading as to the quality or the room ad there were a lot of cracks in the walls. The room was quiet at night with the only disruption being that oc the hotel owner talking loudly on the phone in the middle of the night.
Not a hotel, not a guest house or B&B, just a rundown place with rooms to let...
Potential customers of this hotel should consider carefully whether or not to reside at this rundown, unclean and unwelcoming accommodation despite its good location close to the station and the city centre.
On approach to the front door of the ‘hotel’ it was apparent that I had made an awful choice of a place to stay for the night given the broken tiles, dirty windows and the locked entrance door.
When the lady finally answered the door, it then took her ages to locate my booking and finally check me in.
The corridors leading to the room had stained carpets and an awful smell.
The double room was dreadful, the bed was pushed into the corner, had no bedside cabinet, the bed was dressed with old, worn out linen with thin duvet and flat pillows, however, it was the ancient, clapped out mattress meant that sleep was difficult and uncomfortable.
There was Wi-Fi yet it was useless, the TV though new was missing most of the free channels.
The window had no view as it had obscured glass.
As for the en-suite bathroom this was so unclean I felt very uncomfortable using it, there were layers of scum and mould throughout together with cracked tiles everywhere.
Noise was a constant issue, mainly from the loud plumbing and other guests in the rooms above.
This ‘hotel’ offered no food or drink offering, not even breakfast.
So, how the proprietors can call this a hotel is beyond me.
Tv was broken, screen all cracked, no phone chargers, not enough toilet paper, small lamp broken, stuffed in a drawer. Pillows passed under a steam roller. Ad stated resturant, but zero food available at anytime. Not enough parking available. Other hotels in street, allow longterm parking with large ticket hotel gives you to stick in car. Hotel says we do not do. Yeah they do not do, but the rest do. I stayed at this hotel because i was going to arrive late. But great i can get meal. So i booked on false info. Booked for two nights, room not cleaned for second night, so toilet paper not replenished. Will never ever stay in such a such a hotel ever again. No staff at check out to demand a big discount
Window not closing, ankle breaking under carpet, unusable kettle, no shower curtain, active bed bug. reception in hiding. Booked two nights, but left before 8am after first night.
I would advise that no human being stay in this property, I wouldn't even let my dog stay here. Very dirty and smelly. Appeared to be an asylum hotel in all honesty. Very unhelpful staff, disgusting rooms with stains everywhere. Completely mis-represented in the pictures and description. Absolutely no parking available most of the time. Avoid at all costs.
