This has got to be the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were all absolutely lovely and the hotel was very nice , very clean, very comfortable and we can’t wait to get back.

Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and I had no problems with parking. If I did have a criticism it would be that the bedroom carpet looked like it could do with a clean and the vinyl bathroom floor had black staines all over it, making it look a bit grotty (room 18). However, that said, I would certainly recommend The George and it would be my first choice next time i'm in Norwich.

Excellent hotel for visiting Norwich itself and UEA. Walkable to city centre and short car trip to UEA. Fab staff Hannah, Helen and Puthi were brilliant and I felt safe as an individual travelling on my own. Parking great free and easy. Room great and light and tea and coffee provided. Happily recommend and stay again

We stayed over the festive period. Unfortunately the ‘Deluxe’ room allocated had unacceptable droning noise from a kitchen extractor fan & chimney just outside the window. We were assured it would be turned off at night but had to ask again. There weren't acceptable alternatives available. The staff were very polite & helpful; we moved room the next day. Though the hotel & Expedia dealt with the issues we raised promptly & satisfactorily, the overall experience was rather unexpected at a Best Western ‘Signature’ establishment.

From check-in to check-out via breakfast and dinner, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and tidy. 2 night stay in which the 2nd night was a bit noisier but nothing verging on causing a disturbance. Ideal location for city centre and for the University, where we had a concert on the saturday night. Food was fairly priced and extremely tasty.
