i booked this hotel in march 2026 via Expedia for a 2 night stay at the Tudor House Hotel it was a 200 mile trip but when i went to check in they said they had no booking for me disbite all my printed confirmations i was turned away Expedia are uncontactable as a result i will NEVER USES EITHER OF THESE 2 COMPANIES SO IT TOTTALY RUINED MY PLANED WEEKEND AND HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO DRIVE THE 200 MILES BACK HOME ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTED IN BOTH COMPANIES

Basic hotel for cost conscious travellers, handy location for short walk into town. Room was clean. And so were the common areas. The hotel staff member who checked us in was friendly and helpful.Dont expect 5 stars and you will fine.

Nice hotel. Booked a twin room but got a family room! Ideal for a short stay if visiting Motorpoint Arena. Not the Ritz but great for the price. Will definitely stay again if I’m going to an event in Nottingham 👍

Exactly what you would expect given the price. Rooms are tired and not the cleanest. Carpets and decoration look tired and the room smelt smoky but it was perfect for a bed to sleep in for a very affordable price. Bear in mind that photo ID is needed at check-in and car parking spaces fill up early.

This hotel is very tired and dreary, the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Our own fault for trying to buy on the cheap - lesson learn't ! Only good point was its location I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances

Booked last January for 1 nigjt stay in June. Upon arrival at 3pm to check in. Receptionist advised no room was available even though had the reservation from Hotels.com. The receptionist did all she could and said new owners had recently taken over and booking not transferred on to their system. After abut 15 minutes she found alternative accommodation 10 mins drive away. We didn't get to go inside Tudor House hotel but from outside looked in desperate need of repair with some boarded up windows and other windows opened by use of blocks of wood. It didn't look clean from the outside as really unkept with rubbish just lay about.

Felt more like a one bedroom house rather than a hotel, had a kitchen, living room, TV, dining room bathroom, and bedroom on second floor. Staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I only stayed for a night but I would absolutely stay here again.

We booked the Tudor House hotel through Expedia. We turned up on the day of our booking and was informed we didn't have a booking as the booking was for the previous day and the room had been given to someone else. We showed the staff our booking which was for that day and was told their system showed the booking was for the previous day and we didn't have a room. They were full. Whilst the receptionist was helpful to us we were still left with no accommodation for the weekend. The receptionist told us that Expedia had done that with other bookings too. We were left with no accommodation on one of the hottest days of the year, we don't have our own transport so left to our own devices and the whole of the city was fully booked for the cricket. Cannot give a positive review of Expedia or the hotel.
