The entire Family Loved it!

This place is super comfortable, very well laid out so that we we're all together without being on top of each other, and it is spotlessly clean! The area around this home is beautiful, the grandkids loved the tree swing, looking out of the balcony off the loft, and exploring around the property. All adults enjoyed the size, the cleanliness, the comfortable furniture and beds, and the pleasing layout of this home. Thank you for being wonderful hosts! We'd love to stay here again!

Wonderful family spot

So tranquil!

This property is older, beds are soft, furniture is well loved. But wow what a peaceful, beautiful location. It had everything we needed If you enjoy rustic, authentic, relaxed, quiet, non-pretentious stays, then this property is for you. Great access point to Yosemite for us.

Spacious Cabin close to Bass Lake

We stayed at Heather's place with my family for Labor Day weekend and had a pleasant experience. The house is located just 12 minutes from the lake. There is an upstairs balcony where you can sit and relax while seeing the sky and mountains. The place also comes with kitchen appliances, so you'll have everything you need during your stay. Heather's place is also pet-friendly, so our little dog had a great time too. The outside area and patio are also great; we enjoyed sitting around the fire and making smores. The WiFi is strong. The bedrooms are very spacious. Overall good experience.

Bass Lake Trip at the Above the Summit

It was generally adequate and basically clean and organized yet refrigerators were not cleaned as would be expected, dusting of furniture could have been better and the floors seemed to have been swept but not mopped as walking barefoot or in socks revealed dirt on the day. Also patio was not swept with a lot of debris. BBQ was very dirty. Wi-Fi was intermittent. Not likely to return. The above may be due to pricing which was very fair compared to other properties. Lake was further than anticipated. Very spacious. Overall it was older and more dated than expected. Kitchen was very functional but was stocked with odds and ends.

Awesome family vacation

Charming and clean home that accommodate our family of 10 perfectly. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen size was awesome. It had everything we needed. We appreciated the extra towels available. The backyard was perfect for our kiddos ages 3-6. The kid swing was a nice touch. The evenings spent by the fire pit were our favorite. The lake and center of town were not too far away. We’ll definitely book this home again. Memories were made and laughs were had. It was wonderful.

Wonderful family getaway

Everything one could expect or want for a family getaway. Beautiful area; wildlife walking through the property; all amenities with plenty of room to gather or spend time alone. Our family waited all year to return and loved our time.

The house is very nice and I would rent it again. The inside is nice and it was clean. The only negative is the beds were to soft. I like a firm bed. The picture shows some level of grass in the front yard, its weeds but not out of control. We're having a drought so that likely plays a part. The backyard is nice, we enjoyed the patio & fire pit each night. The house is a little remote but not difficult to find. On the positive side it is peaceful and quiet.

This is the best holiday home in the area!

This place is a perfect retreat in the forest. The place is huge and amazing situated. They have great amenities for all age groups. We enjoyed everything from the board games they had to the outdoor tree-swing and fire pit. The house is great and well maintained. But the highlight of this home has been the communication we received from Heather (the owner/manager). She has been prompt and courteous in all responses at all times of the time. She's been very quick to respond. Almost instantaneous during our stay. And they made thoughtful touches around the house to highlight the welcoming atmosphere.

Perfect Family Spot

Wonderful home with everything one could want- inside and out- for a family gathering. Quiet wooded area. Home is perfect for a family with multiple areas to gather. Close to town and Yosemite or just enjoy staying at the property. Owner provided complete and timely info. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Beautiful home

From the moment we walked it we were able to smell the cleaningnes. Very spacious beautiful home, comfortable my family and I enjoyed the stay very much. Weekend getaway

Property was nice and clean And as advertised. Plenty of sleeping space. Bedrooms n beds are very clean and inviting. The kids had a great time hanging out outside. Even caught sight of deers and wild turkeys (I think). I would definitely recommend this property. Owner was great with communication;))

Wish we could have stayed longer

We stayed here one night on our way from the NW to the SW due to relocation. We wanted a dog friendly & comfortable house. We found it! Heather was a amazing host who checked in, answered questions, and was very helpful. The attention to detail was really nice as well. And, the king bed was so comfy we got a great nights sleep. There was even a dog bed in the master bedroom. We wish we would have been on vacation and not a quick overnight stay. Would love to go back and explore the surrounding area!

Great!!

We were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days and found it!! This property exceeded my expectations! The house was spacious, clean and cozy. It had the best 'stocked' kitchen I've ever stayed in. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable! Heather was very gracious and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay Close to Yosemite!

We absolutely loved our stay at Heather’s rental property in Oakhurst, where we stayed overnight on our way to Yosemite. This rental is privately located in a beautiful setting and is spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. There are also plenty of restaurants/stores nearby for your convenience. Heather was a great communicator and rental instructions were very easy…we especially appreciated all of the goodies Heather provided for breakfast so we did not have to stop on our way to Yosemite! Our sincere thanks to Heather for taking such good care of us!

Beautiful Home In A Quiet Setting
