"We absolutely loved the central location and the atmosphere of the old hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We stayed in room 15 and you could watch everyone shoot photos. We loved having a safe place to park for a small fee. The only drawback was the shower. It went from warm to scalding hot, then back to cold. My husband and i were both burned mid-shower. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. "

"Very lovely boutique hotel.We stayed 2 nights. Accommodations good except no air & very warm at night. Windows open but no breeze one night & humid. And one of the reasons I chose this hotel was it said it had air conditioning.And there were a couple holes in the sheets. Also there is no elevator so we had heavy luggage 1 large suitcase each due to being on a one month trip. So any handicapped person or can’t carry luggage this hotel would not work for you. He did help & carried one bag up...

"Beautiful old building in a very good area. The attached restaurant was very good. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Parking was convenient. The room itself was pretty good - fairly dated and non descript, the bathroom shower was leaking and the tub was high off the ground, and the shampoo was empty but we were only there 1 night so not a huge deal. The beds were comfortable and we liked that the beds that sleep 4 were separated into 2 spaces. "

"As others have said, it is an odd check-in experience. Your in a lobby with vending machines and an ATM, and do an automated check in that was straight forward and delivers your keys. The entrance is on the left side of the building outside the lobby, and you do have to climb a flight of stairs to the rooms. The place feels totally empty. But the room is clean as can be, has all the essentials, storage, windows that open for fresh air and a nice shower. And you're staying inside the Rothenberg...

Great hotel!! Highly recommend for families!
"Really great place to stay. Minutes from the Rothenberg town entrance where there were some good food options as well. Close to the kaufland supermarket. The service was fantastic and Alex spoke perfect English and was so kind and helpful that we ended up staying long in Rothenberg than originally planned. Best thing is the amazing complimentary breakfast. Everything you could ask for and more. Went with my family, including a 2.5yo and had a blast. He also loved the horse statue out in front and the horse theme throughout the hotel. "
