“My cabin was a step back in time. Everything was clean and maintained, except the door lock. I could not get my door to lock from the inside, but there was a security latch at the top that I used instead of the deadbolt. I was satisfied with my stay. To experience a world where pigs, roosters, peacocks, dogs, cats, goats and a sheep can safely and freely roam around 20 acres to eat and lay down wherever they want is what I hope for ever animal. Elaine, owner, truly has a passion for these animals. She was kind and helpful throughout our time in the wagon. “The cottage was well-kept. However, we were unable to get an internet connection in order to use the TV. We called our host, Connie, and she worked to get our connection. When she was unable to do so, she was able to assign us to another cottage. That cottage was well-kept - Paddlers Cottage. The grounds were well kept. We did not use the pool or the grill. But everything was very nice. If in the area, I would recommend the location!”

“This cozy and quiet cabin has a lot of charm, but we did encounter some issues with the water, which affected our stay. The water wasn’t able to flush the toilet or run in the shower, and since access to amenities was limited, we had to leave earlier than planned.
