“The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!”

I have to be honest at 1st i thought it was a little sketchy, since i booked through 1 motel and when i called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation at 1st but eventually did. Then i was told i had to check in at a different motel to get the key to the house. It was late April and it was in the 50's outside. The heater barely worked and stayed very cool all night. It had no carpet, just tile, so it was cold to walk on. “The staff was super nice, especially the guy with the earrings and blue beanie. Check-in was very fast, staff was incredibly accommodating and patient. The room itself was big, very clean, smelt nice and the shower was great. Good pressure, had 2-in-one shampoo/conditioner and body wash, and lots of space to put your own products as it is a tub/shower. “Typical outdated room, it was clean enough to stay one night. Room was next to the parking spaces so you heard the older couples with loud bikes that were staying next door come and go. ”
