Welcome to the historic W.J. Conner Estate of Ocean Grove, NJ. Step into this home and you'll be stepping back in time ... experience a piece of Ocean Grove history! The W.J. Conner Estate was built in 1894 during the 25 year anniversary of The Great Auditorium. It was the summer estate of W.J. Conner, esq., a prominent attorney, influential in Ocean Grove's formative years. Beyond its history, our home offers you amenities like none other in Ocean Grove and is perfect for celebrations, vacations or getaways!

Uniquely located on the corner of majestic Ocean Pathway and Central Ave, you're steps from the beach and the shops of Ocean Grove, yet you'll enjoy privacy, surrounded by open spaces on all sides! Relax and swing on the wrap-around porch, taking in the ocean views and breeze. The rear yard is your own personal oasis with complete privacy. There's a gas bbq for the grill-master, outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach and a beautiful garden area completing this tranquil space, perfect for relaxation, al-fresco dining and elevated outdoor entertaining.

Indoors you'll appreciate the charm of this lovingly restored historic Victorian estate, large enough for a vacation with extended family and friends, yet intimate enough for a comfy get-away for two! Modern amenities include a full eat-in kitchen with 6 burner designer Bertazzoni range (for the chefs in your group), full-size fridge and butler's pantry stocked with everything you'll need to enjoy cooking or dining in. Enjoy the gas fireplaces in the living room and dining room, perfect for cool evenings and winter getaways.

Other unique amenities include a private driveway, providing you and your guests with off-street parking ... a true luxury in Ocean Grove!! You'll be a short walk to Asbury Park with premier entertainment and dining options to chose from!

We rented this house as a family when my son was getting married in Asbury Park. This house was a fantastic choice and so much room for everyone. The house itself is like staying in a historical museum, every architectural detail more gorgeous and interesting than the next. The wrap around front porch, the backyard patio gave everyone enough room to spread out and no feel crowded. The bedrooms where spacious and bathrooms were beautiful. Everyone who stopped by for the wedding were amazed at the historical aspect of the house. If you looking for a beautiful, clean and interesting house that is not your cookie cutter rental I would highly recommend!!

This house is absolutely stunning. It is spacious, clean and charming The location is perfect, just a few blocks to OG, Asbury and the beach. We even watched the sunrise from the porch. The host responded immediately when we had questions. We loved our time there and hope to return soon.

This house has all amenities you’d need to make any meal you want- kitchen stocked with everything! Plush towels and bedding. Porch is THE gathering place for deep conversations or just singing along to Sonos tunes. Walk to beach is easy, and having access to the locker stocked with chairs is key. Grill, outside shower, new large washer/dryer is another great plus. Dominick the manager was quick with replying to any questions- from where to eat to bike locks. Our big family will return! Our large family LOVED this property. It's 2 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from Days' Ice Cream and 3 blocks from bagels, a bakery and Odyssey Coffee. The wrap-around porch was delightful morning, noon and night. The bedrooms —the whole house—was very comfortable. The manager, Dominick, is probably tired of getting rave reviews but I'll give him one anyway. He was SO easy to work with and immediately responsive to any question we had. We would all love to go back another time.

The house is gorgeous. The location is perfect. Days Ice Cream is a few building away. The ocean is two blocks away and in view. The property manager could not have been any more helpful. The porch, the little game room, the lovely back patio, bikes, touch screen concierge, the abundance of towels, anything you’d want or need is at your fingertips. It’s like your friends let you stay at their beach house. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully maintained historical estate. We loved the eclectic mix of decor and the general vibe of the house. .Even though it was early December, we still were fortunate enough to have relatively mild weather and enjoyed the boardwalk and the proximity to Asbury Park. Between the quaint little town of Ocean Grove and the more bustling area of Asbury Park we found plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

This home is well modernized yet maintains its historic charm. Excellent location -- a short walk to the beach, Asbury Park attractions, and 'downtown' Ocean Grove (which has a very different character from Asbury). Perfect spot to take advantage of all the area has to offer. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

This house has ocean views from the master bedroom, as well as from a couple of other rooms. It is only 2 blocks from the beach. Literally steps away from Days Ice cream (best ice cream!) and to Main Ave where all the shops are in Ocean Grove. Seagrass restaurant is also fabulous. It's a short walk to all of the restaurants and boardwalk in Asbury Park. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated beautifully and the house was was very clean and comfortable. Can't say enough good things about Dominick. He was the best host we have ever had. I agree with a previous post which said that he was super attentive without being intrusive. 5 stars all around!

Couldn't have been a better house for our extended family reunion. Beautiful Victorian, whose wide porches, back garden seating area, spacious living and dining rooms and kitchen, and 6 bedrooms, accommodated us so well. Super location on the square with a view of the ocean, and short walks to the charming main street of Ocean Grove and to the Asbury Park boardwalk. So perfect! Thanks.

A perfect spot for a family gathering and short vacation. Yes we lucked out with 80 degree weather in April, and the house was still delightful on its own. The foosball table in the basement was a hit, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. We cooked a good deal in the kitchen was great! We used the wrap around porch a good deal as well as the back patio. I loved being right by the church and the open space leading to the beach. Dom was very responsive anytime we had a question or anything that needed a bit of attention. Highly recommend this place — we would definitely stay here again!
