Excellent experience. Check-in was easy. Kitchen stocked with everything needed to cook for our families. Linens on the bed were high quality cotton. Furniture was quality. Great yard. Quick 3 min walk to beach. Beautiful sunsets from the rooftop deck. Host was great about answering questions. Check out was also easy. We will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house, perfect for our annual get together! We loved the big comfy couch with big wide windows to let in the sunlight- played a lot of board games there and outside on the front deck. The bedrooms were so nice- great mattresses and comfortable bedding. Enough beds for a big group and well set up for families. Having bedrooms on multiple levels even gave extra privacy, so would be really good for traveling with other couples or extended family. Communication was excellent- the hosts really made us feel welcome. The house was spotless, the cleaners do a great job. One of the best rentals I've ever stayed in.

Best stay ever!!

We wanted a family weekend getaway in OIB. This house hit on everything we were looking for in location, amenities, and a reasonable price. The place was spotless, the check-in was simple. We'll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and great location!

Great property!

The location was great with the beach close by. The house was warm and welcoming. We loved how detailed and organized the owner was to ensure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the complementary cornhole set and ping-pong table. It was an amazing stay!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

A Wave From It All OIB was a fantastic home. The accommodations were just right for the twelve us. It was very clean, modern, and spacious. The description of the property was spot on… and the host, Kristy, was great! I plan to stay again, and would recommend this property to others!

Fantastic OIB rental

This was our first time staying on OIB! The house was clean, the bedrooms were a great size, the kitchen was well appointed, & the view from the crow’s nest was spectacular. Hope to get back soon.

Home away from home!!!

Remarkable home in great location. Every detail was thought of. Best mattress I have ever slept on traveling. It’s the little things that make this a terrific vacation spot. Bikes chairs games putting green and more. Highly recommend!!!

A Wave From it All OIB a fantastic home!

Our family of 12 does an annual beach trip and we're always looking for great beaches to vacation at and A Wave From It All OIB is fantastic! The home is impeccable, well kept, situated in a cute neighborhood directly across from the beach- the house is outfitted with everything you need, including a washer/dryer, and stocked with supplies you might need for the week. There's a Keurig that got a work out from our crew, and we were greeted by a lovely welcome basket filled with "things you might need" the backyard w/the putting green and table tennis along with the cute outdoor TV/Bar area were a big hit with our gang as was the community pool, the star of the show was the beach, and we had a great week of beach time- not one rain day! OIB is a fun beach town, low-key and family focused and there was plenty to do off the beach, and we did it all, including a big family photo session at sunset, a dolphin cruise, and the guys did a 1/2 fishing excursion (a little shark was caught!) the hosts have a book of restaurants and things to do in the area, we did breakfast and multiple dinners in Calabash, Shallotte and North Myrtle Beach, SC (SC is a short drive from OIB) We're already making plans for next year. 10/10 highly recommend. Kristy and Alex are excellent hosts, your family will have the best time!

The most beautiful getaway for a family vacation

Our family has been coming to this area for years and this is by far the best home we’ve stayed in! The place was impeccable upon check in. There was a cute welcome gift on the table and even more “extras” than we knew including things like beach chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards etc. This makes it so much easier when you are flying in and don’t have room to bring all of those items. Even the storage area was organized and clean. The back yard is heaven for all ages! With a putting green, bags, ping pong and more there was something for everyone! Each room has its own bathroom which makes these so much easier when you are traveling with extended family. The bunk room was a huge hit for the 4 kids and was even stocked with games perfect for their ages! Kristy was so easy to contact with questions and checked in on us multiple times. The kids loved to be able to ride bikes around the circle there. The location is perfect because it’s easy to bike to downtown, walk across the street to the beach or to the shared pool. Some of our family was staying in a nearby house with a pool so we didn’t use the shared one but it looked like a nice setup for a change of scenery from the beach. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. It felt like home for the week and we hope to be back soon!

Nice home as long as you don't mind roaches.

This place was beautiful! Loved everything about it. Even the host was responsive! But they need to do a little house cleaning. We checked in on a Wed and checked out on Sunday. Would have checked out sooner... But of course everything was booked. I called and sent pictures to the host, she called and was very nice to me and was glad that I told her about the issues. Hopefully they will fix the kitchen drawer, if they just do a quick fix.... Watch your toes! All the silverware from the drawer fell out and if I hadn't jumped they all would have falling on my feet. The very top bedroom to the right... Needs a mattress change blood stains! I didn't tell the host this part because I was concerned about all the roaches that wanted to come out and say hello! We had to spray roach spray in our bags and tie them up in and put them in the car... My biggest fear was bringing roaches home... To a home where I don't have ROACHES!!! the last night the host texted and said that they wouldrefunded me 200.00... Now you see how much they charge to stay in this beautiful home. So 200.00 and the fact that I could have possibility taken roaches home..... ??? Yeah... Had me in my feelings for a second! Again... Beautiful home great location... But they need to do something about the roaches. The host said that they have someone spray monthly and that cool and all... But maybe until they get the roaches under control, they should come in weekly until the matter is fixed. Again.... Nice home beautiful home and nice host... But when you pay that much you shouldn't fear roaches. Just take care of this matter so that familys can truly relax and enjoy!

Perfect girl's trip

My family stayed in this house for our annual girl's trip. Ages ranged from infants to 70s. The layout of the house was perfect and it was wonderful to have a bathroom with every room. The kids loved the balconies. This house is perfect for families and groups. We loved it!

I give this house a 5 stars all around. The inside of the house was beautiful and clean just like the pictures. There was more than enough space for my family of 8. We enjoyed the mini golf and grill area. The property provided everything you needed for the beach and bikes were a plus. We really enjoyed this house and will be back next season to stay with Kristy!

We just finished up a great week at a ‘wave from it all.’ The home is beautiful and accommodated our family of 13 perfectly! The beach was a short walk and we enjoyed access to the neighborhood pool as well. The outdoor space was a big hit for adults and kids alike.

A Great Time of Fun, Family, and Rest at A Wave From It All! My family and I had a wonderful time at A Wave From It All. The house is great. There was room for everyone. The beach is only a few steps away. The neighbors were nice. There is even a Corn Hole Set for those who love some good old competition. This was my second time this year staying here. I highly recommend this home. The owners are super helpful and very nice. I will definitely look to stay here again!

Great Labor Day stay
