Wonderful VRBO

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO. It is very clean, comfortable, has a great location with a beautiful view of the ocean, and provided many games and beach toys for the kids. The check in and out process was also seamless. We loved our stay here!

Health Hazard - Unsafe, unclean, and uninhabitable — Vrbo confirmed refund, but the host has gone MIA. Travelers should be aware: this property was not safe, not clean, and not as advertised. I strongly recommend avoiding this rental until these serious issues are resolved.I booked this property for 5 nights in September 2025 and had to vacate within 12 hours because it was a health risk and unsafe to stay.From the moment I checked in, the house had a strong chemical odor that caused burning eyes, throat irritation, dizziness, and skin reactions. Despite airing it out, the symptoms worsened overnight and I had to leave at 2 AM for my health and safety.When I returned the next morning to investigate, I found:HVAC vents on the second floor covered in dust and grimeA third-floor AC unit covered in black dirt (possible mold)Thick dust and debris on baseboards throughout the houseFurniture with stains, hair, and dirtI documented everything with photographs and notified the host immediately. While the host offered to send a cleaning crew the next day, the property was already uninhabitable. After just minutes back inside, my symptoms returned, and I had to leave permanently.It was clear that the property was not maintained and had not been throughly cleaned Vrbo investigated my case, reviewed the evidence, and ordered the host to issue a full refund. As of this review, the host has not complied and has gone MIA. Stay away!!!
