"Kamakura is a charming upscale coastal town and Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura contributes to it. Sleek, understated very well kept and right on the main street, close to countless restaurants and walking distance to the ocean and a magnificent shrine. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with every amernity one could imagine. Pajamas and hot pot and silverware for in-room comfort, and right next to a Lawson convenience store. Front desk is very accommodating and strives to meet western guests needs. Laundry onsite easy to use. If you're coming to Kamakura this is the place to stay."

We stayed two nights and enjoyed the hotel and the amenities very much. The staff was excellent in providing Assistance and support, meeting our every need. Our server for the formal Japanese dinner was Theint, and she was very well-versed in English and very informative as she prepared and served the meal to us. It met all of our expectations and we would highly recommend the Nanouso Hotel as a place to stay for travelers."
