This is a nice traditional hotel, situated right next to JR station. The staff are nice and friendly, and there is a large carpark in the basement. There is a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel and there is a 24 hrs store on the connecting bridge to the station. The 3 person room is clean, reasonably sized and comfortable (minor note - there is no safe in the room but not a big deal). The breakfast offers a good selection of delicacies to choose from. All in all we had a wonderful stay there and we would recommend it if you are planning to visit Kokura.
