"Oldfashioned charm but with modern rooms. Worth a visit if only for the historic importance at the Avus racing track. Did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. Restaurant also oldfashioned but very much ok, cheap also. Room fairly priced. One drawback, totally unacceptable today, is that the hotel didn´t provide wi-fi. "

"The staff were very helpful and kind. The entry system with key fob was well explained. The room as clean enough but the bathroom in particular needed more work. Our shower drain was very very slow, something which should have been picked up when it was being cleaned so it makes you wonder. Staff was good at repairing it the same day. The elevator was not working which was a disappointment. The smell of marijuana being smoked did not create the best atmosphere either.
