I had a very pleasant stay at the Pestana Riverside Hotel in April 2025. The hotel itself is beautiful—stylish, well-maintained, and full of charm. The staff were absolutely amazing: warm, helpful, and always professional, which really made the stay feel special. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a fantastic variety and quality that set us up perfectly for the day. The location is also excellent, with easy walking access to tram stops, making it simple to explore the city. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The room is so tiny. The air conditioner is not strong enough to cool the room down. The electric fan that was provided was so dusty. The bathroom counter is dirty upon arrival and stained. Also, it was not stated on the website that the stairs are so steep and unfortunately, we were put on the third floor which makes it very difficult for us to go up and down each day. I requested to be transfered to the first floor and we were told they were going to follow with us the next day, but there was no follow up.
