“Everything was clean except for the floors. They were dark; when we spilled something the cloth we wiped with came back black. The host has really "poor boyed" everything...the towels were threadbare, wash cloths had threads hanging off of them. The sheets were cheap with rubber cover on mattress, similar to what you would put on a crib; the sheets would not stay on the bed due to this cover. The futon was extremely uncomfortable to sit on, if next to impossible to get up off...the springs……

“Sorry I didn’t take pictures. I really should have.Not the place I booked. Sort of last minute, I was told it was just as nice and price matched. It will cost me a lot more money! It was NOT new renovated (like the other place). Beat up, needed clean up, they were chasing raccoons at 10:30 at night (not helping my 85 yr old mom). We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Except for one day, we took our dog with us. TShe hat day I walked her 5 times.Bathroom sinks were backwards (hot/cold).……

“While the inside is exactly as expected based off the pictures, unfortunately the outside needs quite a bit of work. The concrete was severely cracked and missing sections and the yard was not visually appealing. Neighbors were also very sketchy and had quite a large tent in the front yard that people kept going in and out of like folks were living there, quite odd. I would not stay in this area again. Great apartment inside so kudos there to the host. ”

“We went to visit friends for a weekend and we had a great time! We brought our dog and having the fenced in backyard was wonderful! Walkable distance to places that were even now after the summer season which was wonderful. Being so close to the beach we walked it multiple times a day. The host, Alex, was super quick to response with the question I had. Highly recommend! ”

“Not what we were expecting. One room was listed as having two twin beds, but it was the smallest bedroom and one of the beds was a fold down cot. Both beds were touching one another when they were down and there was no room to walk to the bathroom. The main bedroom at the top of the stairs only had one working outlet. The tv and lamp were unplugged and had zero way of being plugged in because the extension cord ran underneath the bed to the AC. So you could be cool with the AC, or swelter while……

“Listing states 10 can stay. That would be very tight. The kitchen is very small and only 4 could really fit in it. The apartment had a foul smell throughout the stay. The upstairs tenants were extremely loud. We were woken up at 7:00 AM by someone running throughout the upstairs apt. for 3 hours!! The positive-it seemed clean, it was fairly close to the beach.”

Our only frustration was that communication with management was significantly delayed for needs related to the unit that needed to be addressed.
