“Senses Skiathos has a great location, seconds from the epicentre of Skiathos town, yet insulated from the noise of bars and restaurants. Helpful staff, clean public space and contemporary accommodation. Bed and pillows very comfortable with quiet and efficient air-conditioning. I had basic room but it was spacious. I would definitely stay again if I return to Skiathos.”

“We loved our stay here the front desk staff was helpful especially with navigating the bus routes! Our room was beautiful. There was easy access to a very nice beach. There were a couple restaurant options within walking distance on the beach. It’s about at 20 minute walk to old town Skiathos or a quick bus route from stop 5 to stop 0. Breakfast was okay for a breakfast buffet.”

Not only did they make arrangements and reservations for us, they gave us excellent recommendations and local insights. “Beds are less than desirable and pool area could use a good cleaning. Staff is super kind and helpful. Breakfast is delivered to the room so coffee isn’t warm by the time it makes it to you. No soap or toiletries of any kind. This isn’t a place to stay if you struggle with steps.”

“DO NOT BOOK this property . When I arrived for a x2 night booking ,the WiFi was not working this also meant the TV streaming service was not available. I made contact via WhatsApp and also went to the Sister Hotel ( The Water ) to try and sort out. There was a total lack of engagement from the host. They told me it was fixed the following day but it was not. I verified the fault by taking the receptionist to the property . She agreed there was still no WiFi. I asked for some compensation for……

“Everything about this property is fantastical. I’m glad I chose it and I had a wonderful stay. Room clean and tidied up daily including refreshed bowls and cutlery as needed. All the rooms are close together but give 90% illusion of privacy so that was really great as well. Bed reset was daily. The sunrise view deserves a special mention. “We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “Property was very conveniently located a couple of minutes from the beach and a short walk into Skiathos Town. Very close to Bus Stop 5. My studio had a sea view looking over an allotment with a nice balcony with table and chairs, sofa and drying rack. Inside the studio is basic, but spotlessly clean with crisp white sheets and towels which were changed every couple of days. Bins emptied every day.
