A joy for the eye, balm for the soul

We had a very relaxed week in July 24 in this large and elegant villa in northern Corsica, in ancient Oletta near the peaceful beach town of Saint Florent. Four bedrooms, good airco, good beds, barbecue, very well equipped, and a kitchen both in house and outdoors near the pool. Indoors and outdoors all remarabble well decorated , the owner is a garden designer.Wherever you look is list for the eye, the Corsican mountains as well as the wood panels, the terrace. The house and the materials - All breath class and balance.

Spacious, Comfortable Home with a Lovely Pool and an outdoor Kitchen of Dreams!

Thierry was a perfect and generous host - providing great communication, a friendly welcome on arrival and on site when we needed any help. He is rightly very proud of the house he has worked hard to make so lovely.The house is fantastic. Spacious and comfortable. Good beds and lovely bathrooms, amazing open plan kitchen with we didn’t use a lot because of the even more amazing outdoor kitchen which was better equipped than my kitchen at home and basics like herbs, oil etc were available for us to use. This is where we spent most of our time and we enjoyed cooking on the plancha. The outdoor kitchen even has a fridge with an ice maker and a dishwasher!The pool was lovely and the location feels secluded and very private. The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped and there are different areas to sit and enjoy. We enjoyed having a swim followed by a relax in the jacuzzi before dinner.Wish I was there now!

Luxury - and wonderful hostsWe spent a week here at the end of October and were provided with practical information in advance (supermarket, fish shop, butcher shop, ice cream parlor). When we arrived - in the dark due to a flight delay - we were "waved in" from D82 with a friendly wave of a flashlight and and our hosts gave us a cordial welcome.The house is not only extremely stylishly furnished, but also perfectly equipped. Spices, oils, coffee beans for the Jura machine, games, washing up liquid, maps and well-stocked information material etc etc. - nothing is missing! This house was clearly created with mind and heart.During our stay the weather was very varied. But it doesn't matter: When it's 25 degrees and sunny in the pool, the lounge or in the hammock, on windless evenings in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen with plancha or when it's raining or stormy indoors in the whirlpool and watching Netflix on the giant sofa - everyone always finds their place here. The herbs in the garden spread their fragrance, and a red kite circles high above the house. Hosts Thierry and Jean Louis were always available via WhatsApp for any questions and were so helpful with all of our excursion plans. In short: It was difficult to say goodbye - we'll certainly be back to this home away from home!

Fabulous house that i would highly recommend!

The pictures do not do this lovely home justice!!! It was clean, spacious, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the jacuzzi! We ate cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden and used fresh herbs from the landscape. A huge thanks to our host, Thierry who was very responsive, helpful and kind. Hoping to return soon!!

Wunderschönes Haus und supernetter Vermieter

Das Haus ist traumhaft und hat eine super Zimmer Aufteilung, zwei riesige Küchen, eine tolle außen Lounge mit großem Kühlschrank. Hier kann man sich auch mit 7 Personen super wohl fühlen. Perfect Base for Family Break

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Thierry is a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, giving us advice on what to do, restaurants we should consider and also arranging various activities. The property is full of extras you wouldn’t normally expect such as stocked coffee machine, use of an extensive kitchen larder and use of the graden for whatever is available. You can choose to relax at the pool or outside Kitchen, use the jacuzzi, pop into town a short drive away or take to a boat and explore the coast. Highly recommend to anyone and Thierry is the perfect host.

Pour ton accueil rare et touchant, les prestations exceptionnelles de ta villa , tes cadeaux de bienvenue. Nous avons souvent loué en vacances et nous n'avons jamais eu de telles prestations. Une maison aussi bien pensée pour le bien être de chacun. Attendez, nous avons oublié de parler du potager : tomates et courgettes à volonté. Bref, on est allé chez Thierry.
