"Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much)."

"The view is incredible and it was better priced than the condo down in town. The driveway isn’t the most fun for any vehicle that has a lower ride height, but it’s a few days, and isn’t going to do any permanent damage. More of a heads up than a complaint. Property manager is phenomenal."

"This is a beautiful property, with decks overlooking the Salish Sea on all 3 levels. Very quiet, with only harbor seals and river otters to be seen. The stairway down from the parking location to the house entrance was well worthwhile for such a wonderfully situated house!"

It could use a little love when it comes to the cleaning. Windows had face (I am assuming a small human) and fingers prints all over them and there are cobwebs in pretty much every room. "Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location."

"Great location, helpful staff. The hotel is centrally located in Birch Bay so everything you want is within walking distance. Beach Cat Brewery and The Beach bar are right beside the hotel for great eats, beverages and live music. The beach is literally across the street. Our one bedroom suite was large and had a full, well equipped kitchen with partial ocean view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. "
