The hotel is very outdated. Some of the doors do not lock or you have trouble getting into your room because looks like the doors have been busted. We enjoyed the quiet of the property. Spent a couple of nights stargazing from the hot tub, an afternoon walking the very well-groomed trails, and otherwise relaxing on the front porch after full days hiking and exploring the Red river Gorge area.
