We booked this property for 12/22 - 27 and paid almost $2,400 for 5 nights. If I had known what the condition was, I never would have booked here. I detailed the pros and cons below.
Pros:
- Quiet
- Beds comfortable (king and queen)
- Close to Orange Circle and Chapman University
- Aside from this one street of duplexes, the surrounding neighborhood is quaint, beautiful with upkept homes and landscaping/tall trees
Cons:
- Multiple holes in the floors we had to make sure we didn't step on with barefeet
- This is a small space but they piece mealed together the flooring (different flooring in all rooms)
- Outlets without faceplates, other faceplates were dirty
- The HVAC doesn't work so they rigged up a unit in the hallway closet to pipe in heat to the house.
- No extra blankets for the bed. Had to ask my sister for two since it was cold at night.
- No place to hang your towels (no towel racks in either bathroom). We had to hang them over the closet pole next to hangers.
- No extra toilet paper other than what was on the roll
- Toilet paper holder was broken in master bathroom
- Too much light coming through bedroom windows
- Master toilet wobbles when you sit on it (not secure)
- Master bathroom fan doesn't work
- No sponge in the kitchen
- No kleenex and no coffee maker (had Keurig)
- Front door knob was loose
- Master shower door doesn't seal, missing tile near drain
This place should have either been listed accurately or gutted and remodeled.
