Family skitrip

Very nice location! Realy close to telecabine, quiet area, good connection to skislopes. Accomodation was sufficient, but a bit cramped with 12 people. Only 3 seperate bedrooms, 1 mezzanine for 4 people to sleep (same area as dining room) and the living room (with fussballtable and tv) was needed as the 4th bedroom. But we had nice weather so we sat outside on the terrace:-)

Lovely chalet in superb location

Beautifully equipped and authentically decorated chalet, literally 1 minute walk to the lift. We had a brilliant week, would really recommend.

Cool building close to the lift. Sleepy town

I'm not sure how this place has so many 10/10 reviews.Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly.The Good:Location to the gondola!!!!!Location to the Hob restaurant which was great.The house was very rustic and quaint. Huge fridge and stove, great for larger groups.Super comfy beds and lots of them.Plenty of cooking pots and dishes.Plenty of cleaning supplies to clean up.The bad:The address was spelled wrong in a text making it very difficult to locate.TV was non functional, BBQ as Canadians know it was non existent. ( Maybe he meant the indoor grill thing). No towels were supplied, which would have been fine if mentioned.Hand soap was almost empty, as well as salt shakers, no soap for the dishwasher, no extra garbage bags, no containers for recycling, and the shower soap was empty as well. A half roll of toilet paper in each W/C was supplied.The town of Orelle is a quaint little town but groceries have to bought in the next town over. The ugly:Although they were cute, there is mice running around the kitchen that come in through the drain pipe under the bathroom sink. Some might be ok with that, some not.My sons friend got bit by bedbugs. He was the only one, which was weird because it was my son that found one in his bed. And yes we were sure what it was. It exploded blood when he squished it. Only saw one though, so it may not be an infestation. We all had a hard time getting sleep because we were imagining bugs crawling on us. We left a day early.

Ski 2025

Nous avons passez une très belle semaine. La neige et le soleil étaient au rdv. Tout est vraiment a proximité, pain, consigne pour les skis, remontées mécaniques, resto, pizza, donc super pratique et agréable. Le propriétaire de la location qui gère également le domaine skiable est très sympa. Un bon séjour en famille.

Très bon séjour

Le gîte est agréable, fonctionnel et très bien placé par rapport au télécabine (tenir compte des escaliers pour les âges extrêmes). Partir d’Orelle pour atteindre le plus haut sommet de Val Thorens est très simple. Notre hôte était hyper accueillant et réactif!

Excellent endroit

Nous sommes partis entre amis pour un week end ski. Nous étions 13 jeunes entre 20 et 26 ans. Le propriétaire était disponible pour répondre à nos questions avant même de réserver le logement. Nous sommes malheureusement arrivés tard le vendredi soir et nous avons eu du mal à trouver la maison, le manque d’adresse précise à Orelle nous a mis en difficulté mais quoi de mieux qu’une chasse au trésor en pleine nuit pour trouver la maison à l’aide de la photo ! La maison était très propre et appréciée de tous, elle est très grande, les garçons ont adoré le dortoirs et les couples les chambres un peu plus tranquille. Les salles de bains sont très modernes et spacieuses. Gros plus pour ce logement qui possède un local à ski et qui est vraiment à 2 pas de la remontée mécanique d’Orelle ainsi que le guichet à forfait et la location de ski. Nous y retournerons c’est une certitude, nous avons passé un excellent week-end !

La montagne comme autrefois

La maison est vaste, un petit côté vieillot qui a son charme, située à 100 m du départ de la télécabine, ce qui très appréciable. Une petite terrasse pour déjeuner le midi. Un très bon choix pour des vacances en hiver pour ceux qui ne sont pas fana des boites de nuit et autres commerces pour touristes ... Location de skis au départ de la télécabine et commerces (entre autres fromages et pains) de très bonne qualité à Saint Michel de Maurienne (10 minutes en voiture). On retrouve l'atmosphère montagnarde d'antan mais on skie sur le vaste domaine des 3 vallées. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Adresse à retenir ...

Une vie de village au pied des télécabines avec accès direct au Domaine de Val Thorens. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine chaleureusement accueillis par Cathy dans cette maison de village idéale pour accueillir une famille au calme et au cœur de la nature

Un séjour de ski dans d'excellentes conditions et une hôtesse très agréable. Un hébergement top.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine, d'autant plus que le beau temps était de la partie. Le gîte très confortable offre tout le confort nécessaire, la grande pièce qui fait cuisine salle à manger permet le regroupement convivial que l'on peut espérer pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou en groupe. Les couchages sont très nombreux et diversifiés tout en étant confortables, ce qui permet à chacun de trouver sa place et le confort qui peut en attendre. Mme Deleglise est quelqu'un de très sympathique, elle est souriante, attentive, réactive et toujours disponible pour répondre à nos éventuelles questions. Connaissant très bien la région, elle s’est montrée très généreuse dans le partage des informations qui pouvaient nous intéresser. D'autres parts, le gîte est situé de façon idéale, car à proximité immédiate de la télécabine (cinq minutes à pied maximum), il se trouve au fond d'une petite impasse d'où un calme idéal. Nous ne saurions trop recommander cet hébergement pour des vacances en famille ou en groupe et espérons nous-mêmes pouvoir en bénéficier à nouveau l'année prochaine.

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end dans le gîte de MME DELEGLISE par ailleurs très accueillante et réactive à nos questions. Tout est fait pour accueillir facilement 12 à 14 personnes. Nous vous recommandons fortement ce gîte si vous souhaitez profiter en famille ou entre amis du domaine des 3 vallées à moins de 2h de LYON.
