I had a great time. Every staff member is helpful and very nice. My favorite amenity was the swimming pool. It's shared between four rooms. But in reality it's like your private pool. Good breakfast (not savory, you have to pay extra for that), gourmet dinner. Merci, Esmeralda!

Older property with ground-level Villas. Very close to the beach. Comfortable beds and adequate amenities. The staff are kind, attentive and accommodating. Audrey, the manager, went over and above to try to make my stay comfortable. She is really a lovely person. The restaurant and the continental breakfast were fantastic!

Coming to this island, we didn't know what to expect - but once we arrived, the feel of the villas and landscaping were on point. It's a bit dated but it was perfect for the ambience. The bed was super comfy, the outdoor patio amazing and still private, even with the occupied villa right next door. Love the private pool and really indulged in having L'Astrolabe within walking distance. The restaurant is amazing and we got to enjoy the continental breakfast with an "American" upgrade every day. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful and made us feel SO welcome. We enjoyed the walk to the beach every time and getting to experience the different Beach Clubs along the beach was a nice experience. Our evening walks to Orient Village were easy going too. We will DEF be back. Thank you Esmeralda Resort, our 27th wedding anniversary was one to remember!

i wish they would mention that there are renovated houses and non renovated. had to find out upon arrival that we will be staying at the not remodeled version. also, their check in is at 3 pm. expedia said its at 2 pm. so that one hour was a big difference for us since we still came on early- at around 12:30. coffee machine was at the kitchen, but no coffee was anywhere to find. in general, it would be not bad 3 start, but definitely not better than that and cost way too much
