不满意：清洁度
Our stay at your vacation home was completely unacceptable.
We booked our stay for our entire family based on multiple rooms, personal eating and laundry area, and private pool. We have booked homes like this annually over the past ten years and this was one of the worst.
The biggest issue was the unusable private pool. It was filled with sediment along the bottom. We called to have it cleaned and were told it was just stained and they could send someone as usual on Thursday (3 days later). When the pool guy arrived, he brought a vacuum but just seemed to be pushing around the dirt. He couldn’t speak English well enough to communicate with us. Upon closer inspection by ourselves (we own a pool), it seems that the skimmer has no suction, like it is disconnected from the pump. Therefore, the vacuum also can’t work as it is plugged into the skimmer.
Another issue was the garbage. The outside garbage bin was full when we arrived with lid elevated but we assumed it just hadn’t been picked up yet. The next day the lid was closed so we thought that it had been collected. We added one garbage bag at the end of the first week and realized that it had not been fully emptied. It was then the weekend and there was no garbage collection but we read a few of the indoor signs and thought that maybe we needed to place it on the street. We put the bin out on Monday and some was collected but again only the bag on top. Upon investigating the remainder of the bin it was garbage that had been there a long time, insects and rodents in bin. We thought maybe it was because the garbage was not in appropriate trash bags. It was too dirty for us to manage for you.
Within the kitchen, we found no usable coffee pot. There was a new black drip pot on the counter but without the basket necessary for it’s use. The white one on the shelf in the pantry was tried but does not turn on. Eventually, we found a coffee press which has been somewhat usable. There were no dish cloths or towels, so we have had to resort to bathroom cloths and towels to keep the kitchen clean. There was also no baking pans or casserole dishes to be used in the oven for reheating leftovers. We did love the fridge with ice and filtered water.
The front room bathroom has a nonworking faucet for switching between tub and shower. So, the tub cannot be filled easily for a bath. My mother had to use our master ensuite for her bath daily. We did really enjoy the amount of available towels.
