I booked my stay at Stayable Kissimmee West from August 14 to September 11 for a double bed. Not long after checking in, I noticed my bed was unusually damp. To resolve this issue I slept in the bed farther from the air conditioner. On September 6, I spoke with a front desk staff member, Fernando, about getting a new room with a kitchen for my next stay. He told me I should hurry and book right away because rooms were running out. I explained that my air conditioner wasn’t working properly, and he said he would send someone up—but no one ever came. Instead, he discouraged me from booking through Expedia, claiming it would be more expensive, and pushed me toward another site that required a $500 deposit. He even gave me a tour of a kitchen room. After researching, I declined his offer and decided to extend my stay through Expedia instead (September 12–October 9). I told him I could not commit to six months since I was planning to buy a home soon and did not want a credit check. He then told me to note in my Expedia booking that I wanted room 244 and to follow up with his manager. The following week, I spoke with his manager. She told me I could not book the way Fernando suggested. I also reminded her about the AC issue. She promised to bring a dehumidifier and have someone fix it. Despite multiple service requests, both directly and through Expedia, nothing was ever done. The bedding had MOLD!

Furthermore, maintenance requests are reportedly marked as completed without actual service. Residents also report being threatened with eviction. The review also alleges that staff discourage socialization among residents, make racist comments, and issue threats. One specific incident mentioned is the eviction of a mother with three children due to unregistered children, while, concurrently, residents with unleashed dogs causing disturbances and safety concerns are reportedly tolerated. Concerns about management extend to their own employees, with claims that staff members express fear of management due to their conduct. Regarding financial practices, it is stated that the $100 deposit is only waived for bookings made directly through the company website. We got there at 1PM, expecting to have an early checkin. Unfortunately, the lady in the front desk told us the internet was down and she couldn’t do a full checkin. She gave us room 209 which at first was fine, shortly after seeing the room we left to have lunch. We come back around 4pm, the staff turned on the AC Unit and it smelled like mold in the room. We asked for s different room, that room had roaches. At that point we gave up, the lady at the front desk during the night shift was rude and seemed annoyed by us asking questions. At the end we were never given a room key due to them not having internet. They couldn’t do a full checkin but still managed to charge me the room fee and the deposit fee. I wasn’t given a receipt either. I will never stay here.

Couldn't use Pool as it was green and finally a closed sign placed on gate day we were leaving (we stayed a week), top of door to room was bent inwards and had to fight with keypad every time. Asked for toilet paper and was told had to wait until next day, and they never sent any. We had bought our own after that. We were told to check out room for our approval before finishing registering in. So we checked. I took pictures of the door, the tub where the seam is coming away from the wall, how the bathrm floorboard wasn't quite right, scratches on table, under sink area a bit worn, cracked window pane, holes in bathrm door from poss a prior hook latch removed. When we went to the desk to show what we saw so as to not be held responsible for the prior damages, we were told that they knew about those issues ( except the doors, and loose toilet seat). The room was large, we liked the large sink, could do dishes, good size fridge. Husband had tightened the toilet seat as no one came by to address. Did have flushing issues 2 days later, the repairman did come the following day to get the water tank to hold water again. Lost Internet service. How this place can run on such minimal staff we don't know. We saw a total of 4 persons the whole week. 2 at desk upon registering in, the maintenance guy, and 1 on day we were leaving. Had reviewed info provided on Web site prior and this place has a high rating. That's why we chose this place. Overall disappointed, and will not return.
