“This family owned hotel is in the heart of Cauterets. The hotel is older and is evident when you walk the stairs and hallways where you can feel the slant in the floors. The room was very large and clean, with older french style furniture and curtains. The bathroom is very modern and had a large soaking tub. Like many French bathrooms, the toilet was in a separate “closet” outside the main bathroom, and although this is a bit odd at least this one had a hand sink inside. The breakfast was……

“Our host Elisabeth was wonderful. Nothing was too much. Friendly and spoke any great English thankfully which made our stay very positive. The room was great and so was the bathroom and toilet. The bedroom over overlooked the alps. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The meal that was prepared on arrival (precooked) was delicious prepared and cooked with her own fair hand.
