"喜喜哀楽さんは宇佐美海岸から徒歩2.3分の所にあるゲストハウスで、とっても人柄の良い若いご夫婦さんがオーナーです。フロントは、古道具に囲まれた昭和レトロな空間。壁には、キャンディーズや百恵ちゃんの写真が飾っています。ノスタルジックな雰囲気が落ち着きます。お部屋は、とっても広くて2DKの広さに，なんとお部屋内に温泉付き。これには驚きました。源泉掛け流しの温泉♨️がお部屋にあるなんてスイートルームだと思います。ところどころに，オーナーさんの創意工夫が施されていて使い勝手が良かったです。旅の話し、海の話し（オーナーさんサーファー🏄‍♂️)台湾の話し（奥様台湾の方)ができて楽しかったです。夕方は宇佐美海岸までサンセットを見に行ったり、宇佐美の街中を歩いたりして少しジモティ気分を味わいました。宇佐美はのんびりできて、それが心地良かったです。おひとり様、女子旅、カップル、ファミリー、少人数で楽しむにはもってこいのお宿です。お世話になりました。"

"写真で拝見するよりも部屋数が多く、敷地面積も広かったため、大人3人と中学生含む子供3人でも十分な広さでした。浴室も綺麗で子供達も大喜びでした。近隣でプールに入った後にチェックインしましたが、即、入浴できたり洗濯物が洗え乾燥までできたのは、ありがたかったです。曇りのため富士山は拝めませんでしたが、星空は眺められました。近隣にイオンモールや精肉店があり、BBQを楽しむことが出来ました。また利用したいと思います。"

"雨で、外の足湯を利用する事が出来なかったのが、残念でした。"

"The property is beautiful, private balcony with private onsen were AMAZING! Room was comfortable and well laid out. That part is definitely a 5*. The staff were friendly, mostly helpful, but not so much if you got there early. They did take your stuff, but didn't help with directions on how to catch the bus or where to walk. The food is where this property lost a star (I'd give it a 3, maybe upper 2). The dining area is beautiful and peaceful. The actual food needs some work. The first course was set out 10 min early and was meant to be warm, we arrived on time and it was cold. They proceeded to bring out each course in rapid succession and we had a ton of food in front of us. Not a proper kaiseki meal. As we dug in the food was ok, how they managed dry fish in soup is beyond me. I'd stay here again - but would skip the food and enjoy it in town instead. One other note - if you stay here know its at least 30min away from the lake and the majority of the Hakone Loop. So I'd suggest accounting for that in your time planning. "

"Close to Atami Station, so easy to access trains, busses, taxis and shopping. Not as many amenities as a more expensive hotel, but they supply everything you need and there’s a Family Mart one block away. The staff are lovely and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is small by North American standards, but I enjoyed it very much. This is a great, affordable Japanese hotel in a small onsen town. It was better than I expected at this price point. Two thumbs up! PS Don’t skip the Atami pudding in town, it’s worth waiting in line."

"I stayed here with my sisters and we had the best time ever. Every meal was prepared with great care and details, and delicious. Outdoor spa in snow was fantastic. And more than anything their staff members were unforgettably friendly and kind. We want to visit again soon for sure. "
