“The Falmouth Inn is in a great location, especially if you're taking the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard—it's just a short walk away. Overall, the hotel appeared reasonably clean, but it had a slightly worn, not-quite-clean feel. When we checked in, there weren't any towels in the bathroom, but a staff member who was working nearby quickly brought some to our room, which we appreciated. “This is a charming hotel with immaculate rooms that are charming and spacious! The staff are wonderful - friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well kept with a charming little guest area to lounge and have a cup of coffee. Only a half mile walk to the beach and under a mile to town so very walkable too!”

“We have some mixed feelings. In our initial room, the sofa bed mechanism was broken and the mattress did not lay flat. Staff was very responsive; moved us to another large room with a rollaway bed and that worked out fine. Our second night, the fire alarm went off at about 11:00 PM and we were outside the building until 1:30. “Ideal location, super close to the main street of shops and a short walk from the beach. I stayed with my partner for 4th of July weekend and it was wonderful. Like other reviews said, the facilities are on the older and more outdated side, but we booked a queen bed and our space was clean and everything was functional. Met expectations and it was a great stay.”
