The house is situated in an excellent location with access to restaurants and shopping in Westboro and close to golf courses (Royal Ottawa and Rivermead), and a cute beach access nearby. The home is very clearn, well equipped with everything you'd need. There is a full kitchen, dining area and living space on the main floor, and then 3 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Also convenient parking in the driveway. For anyone who struggles with stairs, just know the only washroom is upstairs. Also, there is a porch with 5 steps leading in. The host was very responsive until our last day...when one of the people in our party fell down the porch steps because the handrail was unusable due to overgrown trees. She broke her ankle and is awaiting surgery. We had to move into a hotel for the last night as a result. We asked for a refund for the last night due to this incident and received no response...and still have not heard anything from the host. A very unfortunate incident that could have been avoided had the proper safety measures been in place.
