This is a cute house on the Fox River that has a log cabin feel inside. The living room and kitchen are very good size and the very spacious back porch is covered with a great view to watch the river flowing by. There is a nice outdoor table and chairs that is generous to seat at least 6 which is perfect for morning coffee or meals if it is raining as it did a little this weekend. We enjoy staying here and plan on returning next year.

Nice weekend getaway

The property was very clean, which was appreciated. We loved sitting on the deck for our morning coffee. There are houses next door, but no one was in them during our stay. It looks like most houses in the area are remodeling, however they didn't seem to bother us. Overall, it was a very nice property. We enjoyed our weekend getaway by the water.

Beautiful little house

The house was beautiful. I especially appreciated the lack of knickknacks. We have a 1 year old who gets into everything, so this house was perfect for letting her roam free. I also appreciated the amount of dishes and utensils and pans available, that way we were able to eat in when we wanted to. The only thing to look out for is the free range chickens and other obstacles in the street. We just drove slow and played it safe.

Great Girls Weekend!

This property is fantastic! The host Jason was great to work with and all questions were answered. We arrived and were blown away when we entered the house...it was immaculate! Sooo clean and nicely furnished. As soon as we looked out of the sliding glass door we saw the pretty view of the river, a very spacious yard with a fire pit. The back porch is great also, very roomy, big table and chairs very comfortable, and a gas grill which was clean and we got a lot of use out of it! The beds and pillows were very comfortable which is important. Directly down the road is C&M Canoes where we went on a canoe float trip. Came back to the house and enjoyed a nice fire pit and plenty of chairs to bring by the fire. i would 10 out of 10 recommend this house. We will for sure book this house in the future!!
