「The staff was incredible, unfortunately the photos and information on the website were not accurate. The loungers were old and worn, they are not what is pictured on the website. The website advertises guided walks and game viewing which are not available, nor were the advertised art classes. We ended up leaving a day early :(」

「Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man etwa eine Stunde braucht, um die Unterkunft über eine etwas schwer zu befahrende Straße zu erreichen. Daher eher weniger geeignet, um Tagesausflüge von der Lodge zu unternehmen. Wir haben hier einen Zwischenstopp von zwei Nächten verbracht und uns vor allem entspannt. Dabei ging es uns wirklich gut - das Zimmer war traumhaft, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und das Essen perfekt! Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von Rhino Tracking, was wir nur empfehlen...

「Stayes in beautiful family lodge with mini kitchen. Pool and terrace was a great place to sit out and enjoy views. Host and staff attentive but nit overbearing. Good location to get into Outjo and neighbouring tourist sites. 」

「This is a lovely property in an incredible setting. It has its own white rhinos that come right up to the water hole just by the (rather cold!) pool (maybe cover the pool at night??). We were gob-smacked by this. The chalets are beautifully appointed and are huge with outdoor showers and a terrace overlooking the reserve. 「Die Campsites (Warmwasser, Strom, Dusche WC, Grill-/Feuerstelle, Spülbecken) sind sauber, Tankstelle und gut sortierter kleiner Supermarkt sind vorhanden. Außenanlagen und Pool ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Personal sehr freundlich. Beim Kochen/Abendessen am Camper haben uns einige Mäuse besucht, die aber danach wieder verschwinden. Campsite A5 hat direkte Sicht aufs kleine Wasserloch, an dem abends Warzenschweine und Kudus kommen. Zum Parkgate sind es ca 5km. Preis/Leistung 1A!」

The chalets are located up on the hills so they are very quiet, and the stargazing from the porch is incredible—you can see the Milky Way! The rooms are super clean with very nice showers. Both breakfast and the buffet dinner (extra charge) were delicious, and the live music at dinner created a great vibe. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. 「Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. 」
