"We had an exceptional "birthday stay," after enjoying a day and evening in Deventer. Everything was super great: Reception personnel, the room, the bed, the shower with wonderful-smelling bath gel, the view. Parking was easy, close, lots of available spaces. It made it seamless to buy ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry to the city center was less than a 5 minute walk. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast options were extensive, high quality and satisfying, including the coffee and fresh orange juice. We appreciated all of it. Just a couple of things we noticed aside from all this good: some tiles in the hallway ceiling really need to be replaced. And, when everything else is so great, why not have the buyer for Housekeeping buy a better quality of toilet paper and tissues? These were surprisingly low quality, which is why it stood out against all the rest that was near to or absolute perfection. We had a truly lovely stay!"
