The presidentail suite is definitely "paradise on the beach" as advertised. Unit was well stocked and comfortable--lots of towels, pillows, and even an extra comforter if it got cool. The outside sitting area is wonderful--comfortable Muskoka chair and the beautiful view of the Port Elgin beach and sunsets.

Be sure to take the cancellation insurance. The owner doesn’t budge on this and when you call him he just says that you need to work with Expedia. Generally the check in process worked pretty well.

We had a great stay at this hotel near Elgin Beach, close to Tobermory. The property was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The check-in process was easy, and the instructions were very clear. Even though there was no front desk staff on site, we had no trouble checking in. The staff were also very helpful when we forgot our access code. I called them, and they quickly provided the code again without any issue. The beds were very comfortable, and the beach view was beautiful. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and we would be happy to stay here again.

Very cute and clean. Wonderful location and morning staff is excellent. Just a little weird not having some sort of management on the property. For example, wanted to get the patio heater working but was unsuccessful, would have been nice to be able to ask someone for help.

The view was great, we should've brought our own pillows. The T.V we had a hard time with understanding the operation, we were not aware about the kitchen on the main floor, the air conditioner did not come on so we ended up with not sleeping comfortably.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Paradise Inn On The Beach on July 10th. First of all the owners were very pleasant to deal with and it made you feel very welcome. We received parking on site and the facility and the inn are just across from the beach so we were able to walk over to what was a beautiful beach. We were only a short drive away from the downtown area of Port Elgin so that was convenient as well. The rooms were very nice and the deck out front was an added bonus for watching the sunset. If you're going to Port Elgin and need a place for you and your wife to stay or your family, I would suggest this as it's a great spot.
