"The room was clean and large with a nice deck, unfortunately a hammock took up the entire deck. Our dog was welcome at this hotel. We were under the impression there was a bar/lounge, snack bar or deli and room service. All we could find was a fridge with drinks that you wrote down what you took. There is a restaurant 450 meters down the hill, we ended up driving to the grocery store. Lovely place, but we were expecting more."

"We have had a great time at Pena Park Hotel. Definitely recommend, good food, friendly and helpful staff. We had few activities booked at the nearby Pena Aventura and it was quite relaxing to go back to the hotel and relax by the swimming pool. We will definitely go back! "This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to Portugal, we are staying at this ranch again. "
