The host was awesome with any questions we had. The house was big enough and had plenty of room and activites for me and my friends on the weekend. Lots of fun to with the lake, fire pit, hot tub and the cornhole boards. Great time would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing get away on the lake

Total Relaxation

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Rest-Ashored. It was very clean and comfortable. Our favorite places were the porch, media room and game room/sunroom. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook with ease. The smores by the fire were an unexpected surprise. Thank you for leaving all the supplies. Thank you again for the ease of the entire rental process.

We had a great time staying at Rest-Ashored. The property was clean and well-stocked in everything that we needed for our week and a half stay. Beautiful property.

Family Lake Time

This property was great for our yearly family lake trip. We had 7 adults and 7 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and very nicely stocked with cookware. Downstairs was a great place for the kids. They loved the movie room and enclosed game/play area. There was also a 2nd full kitchen downstairs which was really convenient to have. There's a boat dock which was great since my brother and his family brought their own boat. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. All in all, a great property. The only negative would be the hill leading down to the lake. It was a pretty steep hill however my 81 year old grandma was able to make the climb so it wasn't too terrible just cumbersome to pack all the things that are needed for 7 kids out on a lake all day.

Family Fun

We planned an end of summer weekend before school started and had an amazing time! The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need, and there were tons of games and movie to keep the kids happy and entertained. We brought two boats with us and to dock was amazingly convenient and well kept. It was a bit of an upward climb to get to the house, and the driveway was a little hard to park a truck with a trailer but not impossible. The area was very peaceful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the deck. The only issue we had, and this wasn’t a bad thing, just a minor inconvenience was only one shower upstairs and one downstairs, with 11 people getting ready it took a while for everyone but the hot water was always there so that was nice. Overall we loved this place and would absolutely come back!

(Adult) Family Fun in the Sun

We came for a family weekend getaway and to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday and had a great time. Plenty of room for 6 adults (couples). We grilled burgers and rented a boat from the nearby marina and ventured out a few times, including a beautiful sunset "cruise" and a early morning outing the next day. The deck is still one of my favorite features of this house! :)

Weekend getaway at lake house

Our family had a wonderful time on the property. It was the perfect environment for our get together. The media room was very cozy for family movie night. We loved the view from the porches. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make big family meals. We will be looking to book this property again in the future.

Family Weekend!

This is my second stay at this property. I originally went with friends, enjoyed it so much, I encouraged my family to book this trip! We had six adults and three children under the age of five. There is plenty of space for multiple families. Clean house, great kitchen, beautiful views of the lake. Everyone had a wonderful time!

This location and house was absolutely amazing. The house is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Katy was such a breeze to work with and the nicest lady! The screening room, the kitchen and the hot tub was definitely our favorite part. We came in the winter months so we pretty much just stayed at home but it seemed like there was probably a good amount of things to do away from the house if you felt like you needed to leave.

Beautiful and Relaxing Stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Absolutely beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake from the balcony and sun room! Abundantly stocked with all our needs for the weekend. Little extra touches that just made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. Plenty of games for the family to enjoy a night of family fun time in the sun room. Plenty of room for us all to sit down and eat a meal together at the big farm style table. Our contact person for our stay, Katy, was amazing! We highly recommend this vacation home and will definitely be making plans to return.

Relaxing Lakeside Retreat

This rental was exactly what we wanted. We arrived on the Thursday after election, knowing we would need to decompress. The weather, the view, the amenities... the owners thought of everything. Great cooking kitchen. Places to hang out Witt and without a tv. Comfortable beds. Very clean.
