The 1857 is a great hotel situated conveniently in the heart of Downtown Paducah. It’s within easy walking distance to Freight House, the Quilt Museum, and anything else you should experience in this wonderful town. The modern hotel is clean, well maintained, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff is fantastic as well. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place! Unfortunately, the last two stays excluded the use of the bar due to private functions. Fortunately, there the location is right downtown and many other options are available. Unless it's a Sunday. All bars within walking distance are closed on Sunday except one (Over/Under) .
