Swallows Nest is an elegant holiday home right in the heart of Bay of Islands. Boasting endless views across Paihia, a covered swimming pool and several outdoor areas to enjoy, this upmarket holiday home is waiting to welcome you!
Open up the sliding doors to be transported to another world. Watch the boats coming and going all the way out to Russell, and marvel at the birdsong coming from the native bush surrounding you.
Get ready to soak up the sun, or settle yourself into one of the three super comfortable living areas to make the most of the unlimited Wifi and Smart TVs. With a heat pump and fire place, this Paihia holiday home has been thoughtfully prepared to ensure an enjoyable stay all year round.
Swallows Nest is ideally set up to cater for your group. You can spread out across three large bedrooms upstairs, and a self contained dwelling with king size bed on the first floor.
Follow the sun and enjoy the various outdoor entertaining areas or snuggle up next to the fire. Wander into town and take your pick of excellent restaurants along the waterfront.
A 10-minute walk or a minute drive will land you in the heart of Paihia. Here you can wander into the info centre to book a day of adventure on the water, enjoy the range of fantastic cafes and restaurants, and swim in the sparkling sea. Another five minutes of driving will take you to the unmissable Waitangi Treaty Grounds and a world-class golf course. When you’re ready, you can amble back to Swallows Nest to pour a wine and marvel at the sunset over the bay.

Please be aware that the pool is not currently available for guest use. Although the pool has a full perimeter fence, the pool can be accessed through doors from the house. Access to the pool should be restricted by closing the doors unless a responsible adult is supervising swimmers. Please note a bond may be charged at certain times of the year. One of our team members will contact you if this is required for your booking.
