「We had a delightful week in this 1860s cottage. It has been fitted out very comfortably and is surrounded by beautiful gardens including a variety of fruit trees. Fiona is a wonderful host, who responds promptly. It’s a 20 minute drive from the touristy offerings of Piahia and the busier Kerikeri so if you’re wanting shops and restaurants on your doorstep this may not be for you. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the lush green countryside the you’ll love this cottage」

「Our team of 15 teachers stayed for one night while up North on a professional development weekend. The house was a convenient location and a good size. Our only disappointment was that some rooms were locked meaning that our teachers had to share beds. We had anticipated that the entire house would be available to us and therefore extra beds and bedrooms in the cottage. Other than that we had a lovely stay. 「We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.」

「Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). 」

「Sure! Here's a more casual version of your review:We had such a great stay at this place! Margret gave us a warm welcome, and the house was beautiful, super clean, and had an amazing view. We stayed with our two kids and felt right at home. The location is awesome too—really close to the Paihia beach market, which was super convenient. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a spot to stay in Haruru!」
