“We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. The property never responded, and despite our detailed complaint, Hotels.com……

“The apartment is one of many in the same block. Regrettably, it is unclear which photos refer to the apartment one is booking. For example they show a terraced area for dining but with no indication to which flat it refers. Also we reported that the TV did not work (or connect to the internet) on day one. By day four no one had repaired it. ”

“I read bad reviews along with good reviews toward this establishment. There are some truth on both extremes. In my trip experience, I found the staff at least the front desk was quite friendly at the time I arrived a bit late in the evening. I will try to be balanced on my review here, I talk for myself and other's experience might be varied. Pros: - The room was clean: the bed, the floor, the bathroom, etc. - The location (read the additional note below): very close to several fast food joints……

“Loved this place! A very cute and calm spot with a very nice little cafe in the lobby. I travel to the area every year for the film festival and this was my first time staying a bit farther from the center of Cannes, but I found it very easy to get there via the train, which is barely a 3 min walk from the hotel. The surrounding area is very cute and safe, I much preferred it over staying in one of the bigger towns. Staff was also very responsive and helpful.”
