Oh hell no!!
The frig broke the first day of our trip ! We arrived on a friday and the frig was broke when we woke up on sat thank god we didnt go shopping yet. we used coolers we had and got a small amount of food. I called the owner and yes he did call us back right away and talked to the manufacturer cause it was only two yrs old so yes we were very understanding about it. So four days later and talking to the owner and the manufacturer we got it fix the compresser was burt out. The repairman told us thay had dry wall work done behind the frig and a pile of dry wall dust was behind the frig and it sucked it up and burnt out the compresser. This house needs so much repairs . the big beautiful sliders you see in the pictrues do not open at all you have to use this tiny little door in a bathroom to go outside to the patio .Toilets do not flush well, patio furniture is rusted and dirty, The front door lock stopped working, All the floors are so dirty our feet got black everyday. I dont beleive the two older people who clean can handle such abig job at there elderly age. The side the pool has gooy brown stuff the pool guy can't clean off and blackstuff on the pool sides. Ive been renting for five yrs and get five stars at all the houses i rent i have never left a bad review before but this house is in such bad condition and needs so much repairs its not really worth the money he is asking. Just a warning to others!!! Shoudhave took all the other comments more seriously for now on i will.

The refrigerator is all most new and anything can .break. I had it fixed as soon as possible, 4 days There was another refrigerator in the garage and I offered it to you to be used while the other one was down, you were not interested and had no interest in using it. The batteries in the lock must of lost their charge and I was never told about it. Both toilet are only 1 year old and flush very well. There is nothing wrong with this house and you never mentioned once to me any of these concerns. Your dogs scratched the living room sofa and when I asked you about it you denied it. They were not damaged before you arrived. You became very defensive and argumentative, That is the reason for your bad review. I have all good reviews and your review is your way of trying to get back at me for what your dogs did. When you were at the house you started everything was fine, you never brought any of these issues to my attention during the two weeks you were there, only the refrigerator.

A Nice Place to Stay
The home is large, spacious, and nice decorated, with quality furnishings. It is in a nice neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Palm Coast.

The place was outdated, not recently cleaned and misleading. I have pictures of bugs through house. Garage very dirty, pool had what appeared to be black mold, listed as having a spa (hot tub jets in place but not connected). When questioned owner after arrival, was told a spa is just a sitting area in pool and same temp as pool. (Spa = steam bath). When mentioned about the jets in “spa” area they argued there was none.

The pool is professional cleaned every week and the house is sprayed for bugs every two weeks. The sitting spa was never advertised as a hot tub. This guest just looked at the picture of the pool and assumed there was a hot tub. He never bothered to read the information about the pool. He has ripped my house apart because he is very angry about the sitting area. Let me ask if it was so bad why did he stay the week. I have great reviews, this guest is being dishonest to get back at me the host.

Great Layout for larger groups. Everyone had privacy. Appreciate all the labels on switches for fans/lights, it made everything flow easily. Our kiddos loved the heated pool. Wished the weather was more cooperative.

Could be better
This is a great house and with a great host but when we come the house was not clean at all. Old Foods in the refrigerator, floor not clean, the pool was very dirty and we have to go to Walmart to get brush and stuff to clean everything The outdoor furnitures are in a bad shape with a lot of rust métal parts everywhere on the the deck we have to take care for injuries This is not a five star house but it could be the owner has to be there sometimes to be sure that everything is matching the pictures and the description but this is not the case

My cleaning people clean very good as they have been in business for over 10 years. I have the pool professionally cleaned every week I had just replaced the furniture in April with wicker furniture I really do not understand why this guest would say such things. This guest never advised of any issues.

Dirty pool and house was not cleaned properly
The house was not cleaned properly, the pool was very dirty full of algie, the filter was empty, the fans in the two rooms, didn't work properly, had to buy a fan for one daughter, the other daughter's fan speed didn't work properly the last two nights there, the other fans worked great. I suggested to the host they need to check the house to see if it was cleaned properly and check the pool between the guests arrival. Get new cleaning people and pool cleaner, make sure the guests have a good visit.

The fans walk properly and why do you need fans when the house has central air. I have a cleaning service which is very good and have had them for four years as well as the pool service. The only thing that you complained about was the light bulb being out in one of the bedroom fans. I sent someone over and you were not home you never said a thing about the pool or I would have had my pool service over there to fix the problem. You told me all this after you had left and were on your way home. I think your complaints are misleading, just read all my other reviews

Beautiful house could be even better
House was not as clean as i would have liked but a cleaner came in after 2 weeks( stayed 5 wks) and was happier. House needs upgrades and better communication with management/owner. He took care of any requests as nev. Clocks needed batteries, dinette rug replaced-filthy. Not the 5 star i expected

I have this house professionally cleaned after every guest. Clocks may need a battery but the battery can die at any time.

My husband and I rented this house for a 3 week stay. We did this based on the stellar reviews. What we found was not the case. I have thought long and hard about writing this review and then I realized many of our issues were reported to the owners in other reviews so it was only right to add it. The house is very comfortable and located close to all. That being said, many of the listed items that were included weren’t; only one gas tank and it was empty, beach chairs and umbrella weren’t available, gas grill wasn’t cleaned ever and the coils were rusty and not working, pool alarm didn’t work either. The house needs to be better maintained as there was dirt and mold everywhere. Mold on outside utensils and mold all over lanai floor, both bathroom too! I am not a clean nut but one could see that only surface cleaning was happening So many items needed batteries or just didn’t work, dirty floors, dust everywhere, holes in beach towels and so much more. Just not well maintained at all, Coffee maker didn’t work either. We went and purchased gas and coffee maker which the owner reimbursed us for - but why did we have too??!? Owner replaced the grill. The owner wanted to send cleaning people to take care of dirt but I knew it needed a deep professional cleaning that would take hours. We didn’t want to have to escape w/dog for that length of time. We sent the owners an extensive list and I am sure that will take care of it.

I have this house professionally cleaned after every guest. In no way was there mold and mildew anywhere in that house. This has been rented every week and no one ever complained about any of these issues. I don’t know if the coffee maker doesn’t work unless someone tells me. This guest volunteered to go get one or I would have had a coffee maker shipped to the house This guest advised me about the grill and I replaced it immediately.

Great escape for 3 adults and 3 dogs
The house was well situated and clean, if a bit dated. Unfortunately for us, we came down during winter storm Elliott, which blanketed much of the US with freezing cold. Florida was no exception. There was no heat in the master wing, which wouldn't be a problem most times of the year. And we were unable to enjoy the pool as well because of that. Our host responded quickly in replacing a burned out bulb in guest bath shower. Overall, it was a pleasant holiday stay.

There is heat in the Master Wing, apparently you didn’t know how to operate the heat The heat vent is in the ceiling and if you had notified me I would have had it checked out.

We had a great time although our time was cut short by the approaching hurricane Ian. The home was as advertised. Very nice in a friendly neighborhood. Peter was very attentive to our needs and even gave us a refund for the time cut short by Ian. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay at this house for 2+ weeks with our family of 6. Had everything we needed. We all loved the pool most of all. Pool did become gradually dirty as we used it multiple hours per day and when we requested pool cleaning the owner responded immediately and got someone there to make it sparkling again. House is very spacious and in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Master bedroom and bathroom are enormous. The home is maybe even too spacious, sounds echoed throughout and was very loud inside even with the TV on low volume or the kids playing about it became noisy easily. Would love to stay at this property again. Owners are very responsive and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Would certainly come back but wished it was cleaner
We stayed for a week in June. The owner was very responsive and understanding and, after an overnight 12 hour drive, let us check in a little early. The property was as described and instructions very clear, so there were no hiccups. Swimming pool was a lifesaver as beach is fairly far and the weather was HOT. There were a couple of non-essential appliances that were not working, the beach umbrella was broken and the couple of beach chairs, in quite bad shape. It could certainly use a good in depth cleaning as there were clear signs of neglect in that sense, but towels and bedsheets were clean (can't say the same for some of the covers). We wished we knew where to find the gear to clean the bottom of the swimming pool because there was a storm a some debris managed to get in. All in all, it was a great stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

This home is absolutely spectacular! Walking through the door, we knew instantly that we chose the right place to stay. It was very inviting and comfortable. Most of all, very clean! It is not as close to the beach as I had anticipated based on description of property. It didn't matter much to us and the biking trails were all over the area and I really enjoyed that. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, traffic was mild and local travel was easy. We were not the typical renters, and will probably be looking at renting this house again next year.

Peter is an excellent host. Quickly responds to any question. The house is very well-equipped - but if you need anything, the location is a short drive to every store you can imagine. Everything was very clean when I arrived - comforting in these weird times. Amenities are excellent - TVs every where! Master bedroom (only one I used) very comfortable. House is very easy to live in. Great sofa and living room chairs. Salt water pool - excellent - and the heated water was needed many days. Nicely fenced yard and very enjoyable to sit on the lanai or see the pool and yard from the living room/kitchen areas. It was a great choice for my 2 weeks away from the northern snowstorms.

A month in Palm Coast
We spent a month at this property to enjoy the Florida weather and see if we might want to move there. We looked at several properties and found that our rental was better than what we looked at. The communications and response from the property owner was unbelievable. Questions were answered very quickly and problems were usually handled within an hour or so. We could not be more pleased with the house and the owner, and if we come back we would like to rent the house again.

Pleasant Stay...
It was rather dark since we arrived late, there was not much lighting outside, and the number on the driveway was challenging to see. However, we could locate the house once we drove past it and got out and looked at the mailbox sign. Once in the home, it was relatively calm and pleasant. The surroundings are rather beautiful, and there is plenty of room in the house for a family of five to six individuals. We wanted to wash a couple of items with our detergent when we arrived; however, when I opened the washer, it was a sight for sore eyes. It was filthy and extremely caked with hair and dried laundry soap. It took about one hour to clean the washer thoroughly to make it more user-friendly and cleaner. Some suggestions for the owner would be to take the time to wash your washer once a year, and it will last you a lot longer. Anyways, the baseboards around the house need to be dusted, and the wall in the kitchen on the bar needs to be wiped down because it was somewhat dirty. The blinds in the front of the home aren’t operational. Just some tiny tips to help touch the house upkeep. It is beautiful. One last thing to note, there was no soap in the bathroom. Suggestion for a traveler, please be sure to bring yourself some laundry, bathroom and dish soap, trash bags, and paper towels because there was none here. -Dr. B

We supply two rolls of toilet paper and paper towels to get you started as well as some soap and a few trash bags. The cleaning service does clean the washer each time they clean.

House was nice and well furnished. The queen bed didn’t sleep very good. Scared it was going to fall off the frame. A few lightbulbs were out and need changing. Never could get the tv to work on the lani. Owner was quick to respond with our needs. A little disappointed with the location. Further away from the beach and St. Augustine than we thought. But, I guess that was our fault. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

The Queen Bed is only a year old and we have never had a comment about that bed. The light bulbs must have just gone out as my cleaning people check every time they clean. Apparently you did not know how to work the TV, it works fine, you should have contacted me. The beach is only 10 minutes away and St Augustine is about 25 minutes away. If you wanted to be nearer the beach you probably should have rented closer which would be more money per night. I am sorry for the few issues you had. I always tell everyone to contact me if something comes up and it will be addressed. I have people in the immediate area to help with all issues. Pete

Private Heated Pool great decision when facing Covid19!
The house was very comfortable and clean. The heated pool was a great perk since it was rainy and overcast for most of our stay. We did have a problem with the door code we were given not working when we first arrived. Peter answered on the first call and gave us an alternate code. Overall a great vacation!

Very nice vacation home.
We had a great time. The home was very nice and so was the neighborhood. My only complaint is that there is a long time leak under the kitchen sink with a pan underneath. The pan however doesn't catch all of the leaking which left the under sink area damp & a little moldy.

Perfect vacation home
This house has it all! Plenty of room, clean and well stocked for anything you want to do. It has an incredible heated pool, a garage loaded with things for the beach, chairs, umbrella, even a range of bicycles for the family. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood close to the beach (10 min. away) and close to stores and restaurants. Communication with the owners and ease of check in is first rate! We had a great vacation at this home and will be back again!
