Luxurious Luring Palms Indeed
I very much enjoyed my stay at Luring Palms. It’s centrally located close to the downtown area and very convenient to everything we wanted to see during our visit.
Inside the home, is a minimalistic chic décor, with consistent cool blue tones throughout the home living area and exterior. There is almost a smart nod to Santorini. Each bedroom is uniquely different but compliments one another. The styling is visually luxurious, and only made better with the very comfy beds and super soft sheets. That combination will have you quickly drifting off to a deep sleep.
In the living room, there’s lots of seating, including two beautiful blue-green vintage leather chairs that you might see in a Bond movie.
In the kitchen, the owners didn’t skimp here. There are all new appliances and really impressive, branded quality cookware. You’ve got everything you need to cook, a simple breakfast for your family and friends, or if you so wish, a full chef’s tasting menu - with dining seating indoors for 6.
Other details that I enjoyed included the motorized window shades. With the touch of a button, it was easy to let in some sunlight or let down the shades to cool down the house. Suffice to say, the inside of the home felt like a luxe hotel stay.
Not to be outdone, the back of the home is truly an oasis. The owners placed a number of lounges around the pool and throughout the backyard, which gave us plenty of places to comfortably soak in the desert sun. There were multiple seating and lounging options that allowed for variety in how we enjoyed the wonderful Palm Springs Sunsets and mountain views.
The pool was very clean and the perfect temperature. At night, the pool lights up green, so we enjoyed a few night swims during our stay and the spa was a delight.
We will definitely come back and certainly longer than 4 days.
Side note – This place is just a block away from the famous art piece Cadillactus, so be sure to check out the uniquely cool one of a kind cactus sculpture.
