A rare postmodern find: sun soaked, colorful private desert retreat with quality modern finishings, private garden view guest house, and picturesque backyard sunsets over the mountains. Original pieces of postmodern art and decor adorn every room. Enjoy the saltwater pool and hot tub, gas fire pit, mountain vistas, soaring 20 foot vaulted ceilings, and fully loaded with all the amenities you could ask for. Bright, airy and relaxing, no detail was overlooked. A rare find, come stay in paradise!
Impeccably decorated with rare postmodern artwork and finishings. Breezy Palm Springs-style modern home with splashes of color throughout. Original artworks and statement pieces from local Southern California artists make this a truly unique find that stands out among the rest.
Living room features 65" flat panel UHD Smart TV and large sectional for entertaining or relaxing to watch a movie. Fully appointed kitchen comes with all new appliances, waterfall island and Italian quartz countertops.
One bedroom is a private guest house with floor-to ceiling-glass windows and doors, looks onto garden and features a California king bed with all the modern
comforts.
Spend your days outdoors with stunning mountain views, brand new saltwater pool and spa, gas fire pit, dining table and barbecue grill, all enclosed by 10 foot privacy hedges. Pool and spa are wi-fi enabled for your convenience.
Located on a quiet cul de sac in the newer, upscale Flora Vista development right in Palm Springs. Walking distance to grocery, Starbucks, restaurants, and a short 5 minute drive to downtown. Parking for two cars on parking pad and ample additional street parking available.
Other amenities include washer and dryer and walk in closet.
A few important details:
Pool and spa heating is charged at an additional rate of $90 per reservation night up to a maximum of $500 per week. Spa-only heating is $45 per reservation night. Please note this represents the actual cost of heating given inflation and recent energy price increases - it is not something we profit from. Heating must be purchased for the entire trip or not at all; it cannot be heated for only certain days of your stay.
Both televisions are Smart TVs and have access to streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. Additional content may be purchased with your credit card through the iTunes or Amazon Prime stores. There is no cable TV or satellite package at this home.
Garden maintenance is conducted once a week and pool maintenance is conducted twice a week. We instruct our workers to always work as quickly as possible, but they do need to access the property regularly and just like with a hotel, this may occur during your stay. It is necessary to keep our property looking pristine and beautiful for you and other guests. We are unable to reschedule this regular maintenance around any particular group.
The City of Palm Springs has an extremely strict ordinance against amplified outdoor music at any vacation rental property within city limits. The exact text of this ordinance from the City is as follows:
Excessive noise (Palm Springs Municipal Code 5.25.070 (f)) and amplified music (Palm Springs Municipal Code 5.25.070(g)) is not allowed outside of the Vacation Rental unit. Music heard at the property line (including music coming from inside of the home) is a violation of the Vacation Rental Ordinance. Guests in violation of the code will be issued a fine in the amount of $500.00.
Should a noise citation pursuant to the above be issued to your group it will result in immediate eviction from the property, cancellation of your reservation with VRBO without refund (for failure to adhere to house rules), and a loss of your security deposit. The City of Palm Springs takes this noise ordinance extremely seriously, which means that we must as well. We are not trying to be heavy-handed; however, we lose our vacation rental license if there are three violations in a one year period.
