Excellent hotel. Location is right on beach and the food is the best we had in Mauritius. The staff go above and beyond and are always happy to help. The gym is a bit small and dated but otherwise could not fault this hotel at all! 5*

Das kleine Boutique Hotel liegt an einem schönen Strand mit türkisblauem Wasser zum Schnorcheln. wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Personal hat unseren aufenthalt noch versüßt. Es gibt hier kein Buffet sondern nur a La Carte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch super coktails in der rooftop Bar.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenhalt in diesem Hotel. Die gesamte Anlage und der direkt anliegende Strand sind sehr schön und super gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war sehr lecker, man bestellt à la carte. Leider gab es jedoch öfters ein Durcheinander mit den Bestellungen, was zu längeren Wartezeiten geführt hat.

War unser bestes Hotel auf der Reise (wir waren in 3 Hotels auf Mauritius). Frühstück ist a la carte und wirklich sehr gut. Hohe Qualität und gute Auswahl. Gleichzeitig gibt es noch einige Dinge wie Backwaren am Buffett. Diese sind selbstgemacht und wirklich sehr gut. Das Sauerteigbrot ist mit deutschem Brot vergleichbar. Personal war super freundlich. Der Hotel-eigene Strand ist auch super und das Angebot des Hotels an Wassersportaktivitäten rundet das ab. Wir haben auch das Angebot an Jogasessions genutzt. Die beiden Sessions waren ebenfalls top. Der Fitnessbereich ist auch klasse. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

SALT of Palmar è un’esperienza che ti resta nel cuore. La struttura è meravigliosa, la cucina incredibile e la qualità dei servizi davvero altissima. Un ringraziamento speciale a Shiva e Gigi, che con la loro cucina hanno reso ogni momento a tavola indimenticabile. Ma ciò che rende questo posto davvero speciale sono le persone: uno staff straordinario, sempre presente, attento e capace di farti sentire coccolato dal primo all’ultimo giorno. Grazie di cuore a Med, Vish, Vinesh, Dharaam, Akshay, Nikita, Jith, Rajiv, Suman e Kranti, che dalla colazione alla cena ci hanno accolto sempre con il sorriso e una gentilezza rara. Un grazie speciale anche a Chanda per l’accoglienza, la disponibilità e l’attenzione in ogni servizio. Ogni sorriso, ogni attenzione e ogni piccolo gesto fanno la differenza. Ci porteremo a casa non solo il ricordo della splendida Mauritius e della sua cultura, ma anche quello delle persone fantastiche conosciute qui. E un pensiero va anche a tutti gli altri membri dello staff di cui purtroppo facciamo fatica a ricordare i nomi, ma che non dimenticheremo mai per la gentilezza e il calore che ci hanno trasmesso. Se dovessimo tornare alle Mauritius, sceglieremmo ancora SALT of Palmar senza alcun dubbio. Super consigliato.

This is an exceptional hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere (vibe if we have to use that word). Much more peaceful than other hotels in this area with high quality cuisine deserving of greater recognition. Stunning location, friendly staff and plenty to do if you want to do anything at all. It is apparent to us that a great deal of thought has gone into how guests are looked after and that has worked.

The food is excellent, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Our room( Bang on the beach) had a wonderful view onto the beach. You could walk far in both directions from the hotel. The water is clear and clean. The sand is soft. It was a wonderful experience !

Absolutely fabulous! The hotel, staff, service, spa, food, and the beach were amazing. The bath products, coffee, tea and snacks were great. Sunscreen was provided, Water stations and the beach service were appreciated. We chose the full board. Food selection, fresh ingredients. My husband utilized the daily snorkeling trips. This hotel has the best location on the beach.

This hotel and its staff deserve nothing less than a 10/10! The location of this hotel is what sets it apart from most - perfectly situated on the beachfront with the whitest sand and clearest water I have ever seen. The A La Carte dining throughout the day has an exceptional amount of choice and all taste healthy, fresh, and amazing, all whilst being locally sourced. Staff in the hotel could not be more helpful and attentive, especially when dining. Shout out in particular to Med, Rishi and Kenny who made our stay very welcoming. Overall, it is an incredibly good value for money stay for what you get in the hotel and on the doorstep. Things to improve: - Restaurant definitely needs some sort of air conditioning for during the day as it gets very warm and uncomfortable the further inside you are. The sea breeze helps when sat closer to the outside. - Not much else

Luxury with a Heart We had an absolutely wonderful stay at SALT of Palmar. Everything, from the food to the accommodation was truly five-star, and the level of service consistently exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were exceptional and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure every guest had the best possible experience. One of the highlights of our trip was the privilege of visiting a local school for students with disabilities, supported by the hotel. The school caters to children as young as five through to young adults, and the work being done there is genuinely inspiring. The hotel’s support goes far beyond simple donations—they have helped furnish spaces such as a music room and contribute to practical life skills training, including making beds, setting cutlery, laundry, and more. Their fitness coach also visits regularly to support sporting activities. What stood out most was how modest the hotel is about these efforts—you wouldn’t know about this incredible work unless you spoke to the manager. It’s definitely worth asking about if you visit. There was absolutely no pressure to contribute, but like many schools, they are always in need of resources and equipment. If you are planning a stay, it may be worthwhile bringing along items such as stationery, toys, or other useful supplies. Monetary contributions are also welcomed, but entirely optional. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience,
