You can tell they put thought into the renovations and decor. It had a cute coastal vibe. However, if you get room 17 be mindful it isn't the best. It faces hwy 98 so you get all the road noise. The door is off center so there are gaps where you can see daylight. There are concerning soft spots in the floor and some of the flooring is coming up. Also, the shower gets water in the floor and there is no bath mat so we had to use one of the hand towels. There are not enough towels in general. The room was clean but the floor was not clean enough for me to want to walk barefoot (which I do all the time). There was a cute patio for breakfast or otherwise right off the room. However the door window didn't have a shade so the lights on the fence shown through at night until they turned off. The blackout curtains on the other windows were great, as was the blackout on the front door windows.
The staff communication was great when we had a question. However the resort info and the info on Expedia were contradicting so it was a little confusing.
I would probably stay again, just not in room 17. Oh, it is next door to a concrete facility and they start early in the morning. Pics are provided in the listing as an fyi.
The location was close to Wakulla and beaches so no complaints there. Walk to get coffee at the Lucky Goat. It was delish!
