Hello Dawn, Thanks for your feedback. First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that you experienced during your stay. These are the worst things we can ever imagine to happen to our guests during a vacation. We just knew about the plumbing issue just days prior to your arrival. We have put in a request to have it checked but but since it’s peak-season, there’s a high volume of request we had to wait for the next availability. Putting the sand bags are the best that we could do since we until we can get a plumber that Thursday. We also apologize for sending an exterminator during your stay. Palmetto bugs are known to come out of the trees and get inside homes during summer and we had to keep them off. We’ve called you in advance a day before your check-in to let you that they will be there but we apologize if we fail to inform you that the chemicals that they use are also pet-friendly and there’s no need to remove your pets. Ultimately, we would like to apologize if you did not have a 5-star experience that we aim to provide in The Outpost. Rest assured that we have address these issues since and we are working on improving future guests experience. We wish to have another chance of hosting your next vacation and provide you the vacation that you deserve. Thanks again!

Hello Clayton, I apologize for the late response. We reached out to VRBO about your feedback to know what would be the best action for this and we just recently got a response. As the property manager of The Outpost, our goal is to serve both our guests and owner-partners in the best way possible. The Outpost is a privately-owned home entrusted to us by the owners and we try our best to communicate to our guests the rules and regulations set by the owner for their beloved home. I believe you are aware that you have violated our pet policy by bringing 2 undisclosed pets to the property. You signed a rental contract confirming that you understand that bringing of pets needs to be disclosed due to existing breed restrictions and a prescribed pet fee is required prior to your stay. Unfortunately, we only found out that you brought pets to the property when they found animal feces in the property. This has been documented through photos and we tried to communicate with you but you refuse to accept the pictures and take our calls. We are willing to work it out with you but instead, you refused to communicate with us. We really hoped we could have made the situation better between you and us. But thank you and we hope we can both learn a lesson from this experience.
