Amazing Sunny Beachfront Unit, sleeps 7, walk to Pier Park!

This lovely unit on the 21st floor is beautifully decorated with a gorgeous beach home feel perfect for everyone. The unit has been perfectly remodeled to better suit the modern person's needs. It comes equipped with a full kitchen that stores everything you'll need to make your vacation feel like home, a dining area perfect for families, a spacious master bedroom with cable TV, two full bathrooms, and another bedroom with a bunk bed that can accommodate two guests on the bottom and one on top.

Besides all of the information given about the unit, the hotel is in an excellent location. It is walking distance from Pier Park, a must-visit destination for tourists full of entertainment, shopping, movies, spas, and much more. The hotel is also very close to several supermarkets such as Wal-Mart, Publix, The Fresh Market, and Winn Dixie, as well as entertainment perfect for the whole family such as mini golf, Wonder Works, bowling, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and several go-kart racing locations. There are also a vast number of shops to visit and restaurants to eat at, such as Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, IHOP, Margaritaville, Dick's Crab Shack, Carrabba's Italian Grill, and many delicious, local seafood restaurants. In the resort's beach, itself, there are many things to do, such as parasailing, jet-skis, banana boats, and many more fun activities.

Guests can access everything in the unit, as well as everything in the hotel (such as the numerous pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, restaurant, movie theater, arcade, gym, convenience stores, and bars) and the hotel beach.

The hotel has a registration fee of $48.15 per reservation. This is a one-time payment that covers everyone in your party (meaning that you don’t have to pay per person) and lasts for the duration of your stay. It covers the parking passes and the hotel wristbands that you can use to access the hotel's facilities, including the beach. This is a strict resort rule that must be followed and paid directly to the Resort.

Check-in is at 4:00 Pm and check-out is at 10:00 Am.

Room itself was beautiful great view and as described. The elevators are a disastrous nightmare 30 floors and 4 total elevators for that many people sheww. Grounds were still very clean to be so big of a place.

We loved staying here! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was amazing. The elevators in the building are definitely a bit of a pain, but the one closest to this unit actually was less busy than the ones in the middle of the building, so that worked out nicely. I would suggest bringing a few extra trash bags, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent since there was a very limited supply of those items. Everything else was amazing and the communication from the owner was timely and thorough and everything went very smoothly.

Overall good great view

We had a good stay. We’ve stayed at other vrbo locations and had more amenities in the room but this one wasn’t the worst. Min amount of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap but I asked that before hand and the owners told me. Weather wasn’t the best but nearby attractions kept us busy. Location does not have any sidewalks or crosswalks right off building. Walk to grocery store was slightly risky. Parking garage didn’t accept our vehicle with luggage rack so had to pay extra to park across street. Also meant unloading and loading vehicle had to be done in stages across the street b/c they don’t allow that to be done in front of the resort. View is amazing!! The master bed is very uncomfortable. Wasn’t as clean as you might think. Look under the beds we found Cheeto’s bags in different areas. With all that said we enjoyed our stay, elevators weren’t as bad as others have stated, 30 story’s be prepared to wait. Wish we stayed longer but not sure id rent again at the tidewater. With our very small children we had enough room in the unit (pack n play even fit in bathroom at night for infant) it just wasn’t safe walking around the resort with lack of sidewalks.

Another Excellent Stay!

This was our second time staying in this unit. Both times have been wonderful. Elevators are a bit slow, but that is no fault of the unit or owner. Very clean. Great views. Looking forward to staying here again!

Our stay at at tidewaters hotel was great. But our condo was not the best. The floor was nasty. It felt like a inch of slim every where in the condo. Also when we booked it said you had to be 21, but when we got to hotel you to be 25. We did not have a 25 year old! I do not recommend renting this condo!!

The hotel charge you extra money late registration fee and knowing if you go through vrbo they don’t provide it to you, the Elevators! OMG! 15-20 min wait no lie all were running slow or not coming at all pple had to take the stairs Tidewater Resort made my vacation horrible will never stay again and the room floors were not clean, feet was black in less than a minute, bed sunk down at top and they wanted you to clean the room but charge a cleaning fee! Never again

Floors in condo were sticky upon arrival. Elevators were extremely slow. Waited 45-50 minutes on several occasions for an elevator. Also cleaning crew should have their own service elevator.

Elevator problems

Everything was good except elevator was 30 to 45 minutes wait to get on elevator and they were slow and hot inside. One elevator stop working my 2nd day there and was still not working when I left which was 6 days later and another elevator also stop working later in week.. Also should be larger elevator for the amount of rooms on property. Until elevators are improved I would recommend staying on lower floors because of wait on elevator. Thanks,
