We lived the property! Great location, very well cared for. The administrative process by the management company was awful. Upon reserving, we instantly received 10 different emails. Many were redundant, some with conflicting information. We had to initial the agreement in 22 plaves

Charming house in the heart of Rosemary Beach

Everything was perfect, we enjoyed every minute. Very comfortable beds, wonderful neighborhood, quiet spot. Short walk to the beach.

Fun getaway house

Just Beautiful!

We stayed at Scouts Honor for 5 nights, and it was such a great time! It was clean, and decorated so beautifully! Such pretty decor! It was a nice walk to the beach and shops, and we had an amazing time. We will definitely be back again!!!

Perfect week in Rosemary with friends

Four of us enjoyed a week in Scouts Honor. It’s a great size for two couples and could easily accommodate a couple of kids in the hallway bunks. Everything was clean & welcoming. The kitchen was the most well-stocked rental I have ever stayed in and we ended up cooking most nights for dinner. We would definitely stay again and/recommend to a friend.

Charming Stay In Beautiful Rosemary!

I was so sad to leave this incredible property! The home is beautiful, well-maintained, has incredibly comfy beds and furniture, has really homey and modern decor and is location on a quiet, lush and green street in Rosemary. We absolutely loved riding our bikes to the beach and back home every day, enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the courtyard with morning coffee or evening cocktails and would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Anniversary trip !

This property was very clean and well organized!! My hubby and I are both neat freaks so we appreciated the details very much!! :) It was beautifully decorated with a nice layout. We really enjoyed having coffee on front porch, the area is so peaceful!!!

We love rosemary!

The amenities in rosemary are amazing!! The heated pools, splash pad, and beach access made the trip!! The house was fine. It’s not like the old days where you can at least expect for there to be at least salt and pepper you have to buy or bring everything!!! This house could use a hand man to come through.

The home was in a excellent location and decor was beautiful however, it could of been a little cleaner upon arrival and the TVs did not work very well. Otherwise it was a nice property and we had wonderful time. Oh….and it did not have a wine (cork screw) opener…..

Two Thumbs Up for Scout’s Honor

Scout’s Honor did not disappoint. This beautiful property was sparkling clean and well-stocked for our arrival. It even smelled amazing...loved the diffuser fragrance! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking an evening meal. Our beds were super comfy, and there were extra pillows if needed. The outdoor shower came in handy for showering off before going inside. It was great to have bikes provided for a quick ride to the beach. Even though the beach was a little bit of a walk, it was pleasant. We brought a collapsible wagon for our grandson to ride in, and it was perfect for carrying our beach items. The only thing that we would have liked to have was a baby gate for the stairs, but other than that, it was a great experience. We would recommend this property for future visitors!

Not clean

Spent the first day going to the grocery store to buy cleaning supplies. The place had not been mopped in forever. Soap scum in the tub so bad it got on my finger when I rub it. Had to wipe down all the appliances. They had sticky finger prints everywhere. I don’t think the place had been properly cleaned in months it was so dirty. Did not pay what we did to drive 12 hours just to clean someone else’s house. Ridiculous!

Scouts Honor could be fantastic! The location, the space and the amenities are all fantastic. We experienced a water leak with the freezer on the morning of our 3rd day. Maintenance came, cleaned it up, and fixed it. However, they moved the refrigerator to the middle of the kitchen, the wine cooler to the middle of the living room and an industrial blower running. Items remained where they had moved them for the entire week and we never saw nor heard from the management company for the remainder of our stay.

Great but dirty

Lovely house with all the amenities and supplies needed to stay for a week. However, we had problems with the upstairs fans. One did not have a light that worked, the other fan made horrific screeching sounds. There were bugs found in one bathroom and bedroom that we killed everyday. The other complaint is that doors, railings, windows were filthy. All of this was communicated to the property management group. They told me they would be calling an exterminator and will be changing the bulb but it did not happen during our stay. Tried telling me that the cleaning staff cleans using a magic eraser but I beg to differ. My only recourse is to write a negative review and contact the homeowner via FB.

Cosy and comfortable cottage - some shortcomings

Scout’s Honor is a lovely little cottage in a great location. It’s cosy, comfortable and the front porch to the courtyard is a great place to sit and relax. Our main problem is that the home was not properly cleaned before our arrival (or possibly for some time). The oven had congealed food in the bottom, the washing machine seal was thick with black grime, the vacuum cleaner was full and the kitchen trash can dirty. There was also a build-up of grease on all the kitchen door handles and frames (which easily wiped off, so clearly no one had attempted this in a while). The bed linen in the guest bedroom had sand and hair in it from the previous guests. 30A cottages responded promptly to our complaint and cleaned the oven and changed the linen etc. but it was still off putting to arrive to that condition. The bedrooms and bathrooms were otherwise clean and comfortable. It was odd that the home has no kettle and a shame there is no side table out front for use with the two armchairs, but we nevertheless enjoyed our stay and a small detached house like this is rare in RB. Our message to the owner would be to demand higher standards from 30A Cottages to do justice to the home and to be fair to the guests.
